Always good value for money; and reasonably priced glasses. Offers from time to time, but I've used Specsavers Dereham Branch for more than ten years now and no complaints.
The staff were excellent as usual. My new night driving glasses are brilliant. Now I have no fear of driving in the dark.
On time reminders about annual/biennial eye tests.. Timed appointments, also on time for preliminary and main tests. Good advice ref prescriptions, choice of options and choice of frames. Prepared to answer questions precisely. One downside - I journeyed to collect my prescribed glasses, only to be told that they had not arrived - requiring a return trip to collect.
I was in and out quickly, with a great range of glasses in store, From an eye test to picking a new pair of glasses, I was very happy with the service. Will be back on Saturday to collect my new glasses.

Having just assisted an elderly lady who had slipped over on the ice as it’s minus 6 in Dereham today I arrived 5 minutes after my appointment was due to start. I explained what had happened but was told that the optometrist was refusing to see me At 3:30, two hours before closing and was simply turned away. I’ve been suffering with headaches for weeks and been told by my doctor to get an eye test as soon as possible. No option to rebook, zero leniency. I was so staggered by the totally rude unhelpful reception having just helping an other human being I left and will never bother to return to this branch. Unhelpful and rude.
Good visit and a lot of help and information. The staff were very helpful about choosing new frames as I picked the one worn by the member of staff doing the admin! You know who you are. They're lovely despite our age difference.
Staff in store are very good and the staff member doing contact lens checks is excellent . The problem is you cannot get through to the store on the telephone . When calling , it defaults to an answer machine system where you have to leave a message. I left a message and was not called back nor a friend of mine who called 5 days ago . I complained to the manager about this some weeks ago but nothing has improved. I have complained again and was originally told there is no record of my phone call .., but then told they did call me back although nothing on my mobile shows this . Apparently they cannot recruit staff but other opticians seem to be able to take calls ? This system just does not work and is frustrating for customers . Staff in store 5/5, customer service trying to contact store 0/5. Only reason I stay is the woman who does contact lenses is great , otherwise I would have gone elsewhere by now despite being a customer for well over 2O years .
