   Absolutely loved my visit to the bull! The atmosphere is spot-on – cosy, lively, and just the perfect place to unwind with friends or family. It instantly felt like a proper local the moment I walked in. A massive shout-out to Patricia behind the bar – she was soooooo nice and welcoming! From the second we arrived she greeted us with the biggest smile, had a proper chat, and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Honestly, Patricia is an absolute gem and the kind of person who makes a pub truly special. Sarah was also working the bar and was really lovely too – friendly and great chat all round. Between the brilliant vibe and the fantastic staff (especially Patricia!), I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Already looking forward to coming back!

   I was very impressed with the new Menu and service at The Bull on Friday November 7th. They had a Fish & Chip Friday special, which I would have had if I hadn't had it the day before, so had Lincolnshire Sausage & Mash with Onion Gravy & Peas. It was fabulous, and very good value at £9.95. They also had a special dessert of the day not on the menu - Chocolate & Honeycomb Cheesecake with Vanilla Ice Cream, which was also fantastic! There have been several food relaunches over the last decade, not many of which have been successful. In fact, I've not a good meal in there since a Works Xmas do in 2019, and stopped eating there altogether two years ago. Sarah & Laura were very friendly and helpful, and the service was superb, and very professional. Finally, I've not seen it as busy at 4pm on a Friday afternoon for many years, with most tables full, as well as the bar area, with a good atmosphere, with at least 3 bar staff working. I'll certainly be having the Sunday Roast next week, which I also understand is very popular and I've certainly never had the option of trying before! We're looking forward to it and so pleased it is now a Punch Pub!

   Our first visit tonight and it won't be our last. Had chicken goujons to start - with a good side salad - not just a garnish - and a tasty dip. Then bangers and mash. A very generous portion with 3 tasty sausages, peas, mash and onion gravy. Struggled to eat it all. Service with a smile from the barman. Will definitely return.

   Busy pub with sport on big screens, had chicken strips, cheesy chips and garlic bread, everything was lovely but the garlic bread was a bit strong for our liking, will be going back soon
