Visited here on a Friday night, what a night! The atmosphere was amazing and some great music coming out! The drinks are reasonably priced. The team were working very hard with it being a busy Friday night but they looked liked they loved their jobs. We had some food and the food was great too! Chicken burger is tip top!!
Great pub! Lovely atmosphere and the food is amazing. They have two pool tables that are contactless which is very handy! Big shoutout to all the staff who are very friendly and happy to help!

Absolutely love this place. Atmosphere is always great. Reasonably priced. The bar staff are incredible, friendly and really make the effort to get to know the locals. A big shout out to Libby and Kyle, who make us feel at home every time we visit!
Love this pub. My local me and my dog nacho always feel welcome, made some great friends. Had the best dinner today pie , mash and brocolli cooked by new kitchen manager absolutely stunning , best dinner ever had in there 10 our of 10. Love all the bar staff the girls are amazing. We love you all Jem and Nacho.
Popped in to The Elephant for a glass of something! After several hours doing some early Christmas shopping. The pub is nicely set out and has a warm cozy feel about it even though it is spacious, which is ideal for anyone with wheels. The bar staff are welcoming and friendly and it was a nice touch to see they had Mulled Wine on the go, it warmed us up a treat. Although we were not dining on this visit I did browse the menu and was pleasantly surprised at the good variety of vegetarian and vegan options, good to know as I have many friends and family that this will suit and I'm not adverse to meat free meals in my attempt to eat healthier. The prices were very reasonable and as I live quite local I'll be trying this out quite soon. If you are into sports then this is most definitely a good place to chill with friends. There are more than enough screens for everyone, so no matter where you are seated, you'll have a good view. There is a nice covered patio garden that I have whiled away several hours in this year with friends. And the toilets are amazingly clean for such a busy popular pub. All in all it is a lovely venue, especially on a cold wet afternoon after the trauma of shopping!!
My family and I really feel the staff went above and beyond to make our experience lovely tonight, the chef made two absolutely fantastic meals, and.the steak really impressed my very fussy partner! The environment is very inclusive and kind and the staff are absolutely lovely and very very sweet and generous, thank you for making our rare date night (with child in tow) an exceptional night :D
Came in for a nice bit of lunch with my wife and dog. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Food was incredible and great music. Donna couldn’t do enough for us and it was nice to see her and the lady with the Greene king top on having a nice little dance behind the bar. Really made my wife smile! Such a pleasant place to be. Highly recommend.
Made a booking for my mum's 65th birthday and we were blown away by the service we received! I first spoke with Lyndsey who helped me organise ordering food etc as our party was quite large (20 people) Lyndsey was very understanding and accomodating when we had to rearrange due to COVID and when the night finally came around, to make the most of the lovely weather, she contacted me to see if we'd prefer to sit outside (really appreciated this touch as the outside area of The W E is gorgeous!!) On the night we were helped by the fabulous Donna who took time to help me decorate the outside area and was on hand the entire night to make sure everything ran smoothly, frequently checking in to see if we need anything at all. All the guests commented and the fantastic, friendly staff and lovely outdoor setting. Will certainly be returning for future celebrations!
