Third visit in a short space of time. Third time perfect. I didn't stay, we just ate there, but the food is consistently wonderful and so are the staff. The dining room is gorgeous - well appointed and set out, spacious, beautifully decorated, and we were lucky enough to get tables overlooking the water each time. The people working there are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, efficient, nice sense of humour. Now, the food. I didn't take pix - next time! - but my friends say the burger is the best they've had (and they're experts). I had the Norfolk fondue and scallops, both faultless. Last time with different friends we had the arancini, halloumi, whitebait and seafood pasta. Again, all exemplary. My one - small - comment is that the wine list could be better in terms of glasses offered. There was only one European option with whites and I don't like new world wines, environmentally or drinkily (is that a word? It is now!). Minor issue against a tsunami of excellence. See you soon.

Had a bargain night's stay here. The location is lovely but our room faced the car park. Not a problem as no doubt the rooms facing the river are in demand and more expensive. The room was small but lovely and well equipped with Elemis toiletries and lots of tea and coffee. The bed was small but there wouldn't have been any room for a bigger one. We slept well though. Breakfast was good served with sauteed potatoes but they were really just boiled with some onion. They didn't add anything to what was otherwise a nice breakfast with lots of choice. We were entertained by all the activity on the river and the friendly herons were great. We will return to the Hotel Wroxham...!

Very pricey, but they have an excellent location, so charging applicably! A lovely "spot" to watch the world go by so to speak. Outside tables / chairs could do with better maintenance. For example, on our visit, we sat outside in the sun, and lovely surroundings, but the previous "patrons" obviously had a dog, and there was 'dog hair' all over the seating... Just a bit more attention to detail needed at the prices they charge....

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Wroxham. The location is unbeatable, right on the river, and the warm welcome from the friendly staff set the tone for our visit. The food was excellent, and the chef went out of their way to cater for my wife’s dairy-free needs. Wendy, the owner, was charming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Contrary to another review we’d read, we found the wine and drinks list reasonably priced for such a prime spot. The attention to detail in the interior design was impressive, with many unique items available in the on-site shop. Highly recommended!

Every time we visit Hotel Wroxham, we leave suitably impressed. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated with wonderful views of the river across the terrace. All staff are friendly, polite and very attentive - true 'service with a smile'. And the food is superb. An inspiring menu of beautifully cooked and presented food. Whether you just want a quiet drink with your dog by the river or a fine three course dining experience, this is the place to come. A true Broadland gem.

Last Saturday 1st April whilst on our weekend boat trip, we dined at the hotel. Our waiter Josh was absolutely brilliant along with his colleague who unfortunately name we did not get (possibly Manuel from previous post I've read) nothing was to much trouble for either of them or any of the other staff. The ambience of the hotel is just lovely it's inviting, cosy and classy and the food was delicious 5 stars all round. Whilst out boating days are almost definitely at an end if ever in Wroxham this is where I'd stay. you have staff to be proud of great team, Josh and co. thank you for making it such a lovely evening - Jan Julie Tracey & Sheila,

Unfortunately I can’t award any stars for the Hotel Wroxham but I’ve had to select one star to allow me to post this review. Having booked and payed for a room at the Hotel Wroxham to attend a Celebration of life for a dear friend in the Hotel Wroxham, I was taken I’ll. I was aware of the no refund policy for a late cancellation but as the room cost was double the normal rate, being between Christmas and New Year, I asked if the booking could be transferred instead but this was refused on the grounds that it was too short notice. Unfortunately the contagious bug didn’t give me any notice either. The Hotel might be good, the food might be brilliant and the ambience might be perfect but I’ll never know because I’ll never go there having been on the receiving end of very poor customer care before I’ve even been to the place.

Booked a last-minute hotel room recently and was not disappointed. A lovely comfortable room, nice toiletries, warm room and nice bathroom, super comfortable bed and bedding. So nice to have Yorkshire Tea in the rooms and a selection of fresh coffee bags / instant / sachet lattes. I had smashed avo for breakfast which was yummy, in hindsight I'd probably have preferred poached egg to scrambled as the texture ended up quite mushy, however I am confident they would have accommodated this had I asked. Would happily stay again.

Working in the area I have been frequenting many hotels, this is by far my favourite in terms of ambiance, comfort, location and friendliness of the staff. A special mention to Lauren who has gone above on beyond especially solving a booking mishap without any problems. A great place visiting on business, even better for a pleasure visit. Definitely be back.

Lovely hotel, good food for foodies, fabulous breakfast. Named rooms (up-grade) with balcony overlooking the water and boats, well worth extra cost. Only negative, stairs up to rooms are steep... All up great and looking forward to our return next time.
