Disappointing place . Very small despite the adverts saying good food . It's more good luck to get any without booking. Simply told have you booked. No . We're busy with a party. Considering it's position you would think meals would be available most of the time . Not so
This little hotel was a lovely surprise how good it was. Jess, the front of house manager was super friendly and the perfect level of professionalism. The building is fairly old with nice character, the rooms and decor have all had some good TLC recently. We only had breakfast, which was lovely And the location right on the water was just beautiful. We only stayed one night as we were visiting for a wedding - but had we been there longer , this would have been a lovely home
An absolute gem of a place, the food was fantastic and the staff were really good. Lovely feel to the bar and restaurant, bit of a surprise how much room there is in the restaurant. Dog friendly for those who take pets with them
Unfortunately not a good experience here, we moored our boat, went to see if we could have food at the restaurant, was bluntly told, have you booked! This was early also mid-week, it wasn't even busy!! We were told they were fully booked!!
Didn't book and turned up on a whim. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and sorted us a table even though most tables were reserved. Food was fantastic when it arrived. Beautifully presented and so delicious. Decided on a pudding which we don't normally do. Also fantastic. First time here and when we return to the Broads again, we will revisit.
The toom was the let down: the bathroom had various problems, the TV remote didn't work properly, it was cold in the night and the alarms went off. However the staff made up for the room's shortcomings. They were warmly welcoming and the situation is great.
Had food at the pub tonight with family who're staying in the hotel, we all had different things and they were all amazing!! The curries & the Indian starter were definitely the stars of the night though. Also the lovely staff member we had was on the bar and serving food and was fast and so lovely! Couldn't be happier
Ate in what used to be a nice restaurant. Somebody decided to close half the restaurant and put in a pool table! DO NOT expect a quiet meal. Which by the way included undercooked batter on a tiny piece of haddock. Don't bother.
