I hired the top room for my daughter's wedding celebrations on 22nd Nov. It really is two rooms with a staffed bar that you can decorate and split for music/dancing and food/chatting. Kathryn was an excellent organiser. The original booking was way back in January yet nothing was overlooked. Her communication is spot on. Craig provided the live music and we asked Nonna Lucia's pizza van to provide an additional food option that we shared with the pub regulars. The feedback I've had is amazing. Thanks all at the Mill for making our celebration unforgettable. Cheers....John Whelan

I hired a small room for my sisters baby shower and it was perfect. It's a lovely pub with a great selection on drinks at a good price. The staff were very friendly and all around a great atmosphere. I'd highly recommend and will certainly be back even for just drinks. Location is great and look forward to enjoying the pub garden in the summer.

I hired the Steam Room with for my baby shower to host 40 guests. It’s a beautiful, hidden-gem of a venue. We were able to add decorations and cater ourselves. Kathryn's communication with me was great and the whole process was very smooth. Would definitely recommend.

Just came in for a quick pint before a wedding. Went for the American IPA. Good service. Lovely pint. Even though it was busy, it was lovely and peaceful sat in the beer garden.

I hired the Malt Room with private bar to host my 40th Birthday party for 45 guests. The whole process, communication and on the night support was fantastic. It's a beautiful venue that needs very little, if any decorating, is different to all the standard hall hires and the perfect size. Kathryn's communication with me was great, I hadn't hosted a party before so she was so helpful guiding me. On the night, our bar staff Skye was phenomenal, she clearly showed her experience in handling events and party goers and made everything seem easy and kept all the guest well watered. What more could you want!? We used Platters and Boards for catering.

Awesome pub! The layout is not what you would be used to and only having a full bar on the bottom floor only means your working off the beer your drinking which isn't a bad thing. Top floor has an excellent space for parties and such, including a smaller bar which can be used upon request. Amazing beers on tap, I recommend the Roman Road. Honestly an awesome, quirky pub, set across three floors and amazing beers!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for Kathryn and all bar staff who were super helpful and friendly with organising our baby shower on the 7th Jan! The staff members were really accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our guest had a great time. Highly recommend!

Great little place to have a nice pint, plenty of different drinks, ales etc. to choose from and if you pop down during these festive times, you can try their festive ale (chefs kiss).

Towcester Mill brew and sell their own beer from this old converted building. The beer is wonderful and they have several to choose from. The tap room or bar is excellent and perfect for a good few beers with mates. They have a bottle shop selling their products. A large outdoor space and a location next to the river Tove and Watermeadows park are perfect for a summer drink. Plenty of car parking nearby. The beer is great value and truly tasty, what's not to like?

My go to place for a relaxed drink, especially when the sun is out due to the large beer garden, as the staff are super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about what they are selling. The bar is really cosy on the inside and they serve a wide range of craft beers and ciders (draught and bottled), but also cater for gin, wine and prosecco drinkers alike! All drinks are really reasonably priced and suit any budget. Set in an old water mill, it's the ideal place to take friends, family and your four legged friends too! If you're ever in Towcester you MUST pay this place a visit.
