We have had a lovely long weekend to visit family and Ray and Loren have given us a base to do this, the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The matters was amazing and it gave us 2 comfortable nights sleep . The choice of breakfast food was varied so a really good choice. The atmosphere was lovely, both Ray and Loren are very easy people to get on with and it was a pleasure to get to know them. We will be returning and would highly recommend a stay there.. thank you Ray and Loren. X

Hethersett Lodge is a lovely place to stay. Ray was so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and fresh and the beds were super comfortable. Ray also booked us a table at the local Queens Head for our evening meal (just a short walk from the property) which was absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hethersett Lodge to anyone and can't wait to stay here again!

The host was warm, friendly and loving couple with loads of wisdom and knowledge. Enjoyed my stay there and was walking distance to my event which was prefect. The breakfast was nice and had a selection to choose from. Arranged a table for me for dinner which was kind of them. Definitely going back again

As a recent guest at Hethersett Lodge, I cannot recommend this stunning property enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the lovely hosts, Ray and Loren. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The property itself is a beautiful, historic building with stunning countryside views. My room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with all the amenities I could need, including a comfortable bed and a modern en-suite bathroom. What truly stood out to me about my stay at Hethersett Lodge, however, was the warmth and kindness of Ray and Loren. They made me feel like part of the family, and their attention to detail and personal touches were truly exceptional. From the delicious breakfasts to the thoughtful little touches in my room, I felt pampered and cared for throughout my stay. Ray and Loren are not just amazing hosts, but also knowledgeable about the area and always willing to offer helpful tips and recommendations. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was an unforgettable experience.

Ray and Loren were lovely hosts. The place is a cosy little lodge with 3 rooms. Highly recommended for family trips. There's also a Tesco nearby for your grocery needs.

0 stars We disliked the property as soon as the door was opened, and we saw the old 70's pub style carpet everywhere. It felt small, claustrophobic, and dark, and there were "things" everywhere - very cluttered. I must say that the website gave an entirely and very misleading description. "Luxurious" is the polar opposite of what we found. Our bedroom was very small and cramped, the bathroom was the size of an old telephone box, and everything was about 40 years old. I wouldn't have wanted to change my clothes or sleep in this property - it felt dirty and there was an old musty smell everywhere. The host was instantly oppressive, and there were signs everywhere demanding quiet. We stayed no more than 10 minutes, and left bewildered. We then had to find somewhere else to stay, and returned to collect our bags once we had secured a clean, modern, large room elsewhere. We were absolutely dismayed that anyone would pay £80 to stay in this property.

Absolutely loved staying here for two nights, had a warm friendly welcome, very accommodating service, breakfast was just like being part of the family, loved meeting the other guests here and chatting with the owners over a continental type breakfast with a good choice of foods. Bed was extremely comfortable, room very clean airy and homely. All this for a great price. Would recommend.

Nice b and b but a little basic. TV from the ice age but with Sky! They did have a strange breakfast with cereals and toast etc but you have to eat communally. Also no WiFi. Finally strange rule for those wishing to stay to put deodorants on after breakfast due to a condition of one of the staff. (Not a criticism of the b and b) just my opinion.

A lovely, homely b&b. The owners, Ray and Loren, are friendly and very helpful with local amenities and assistance. No WiFi but you do have Ethernet port access so you can get online with a laptop. Breakfast is around a large family table, nice to chat to others if that's your thing - I enjoyed it very much! Comfy bed, clean and tidy everywhere, en suite with everything you'd expect. If I'm in the area again I'd gladly go back
