   Went in for a nice drink for our Christmas break works do on the 19th, the pub and staff themselves were lovely. However, a very rowdy bunch took over the pub, being so loud, obnoxious and intimidating it clearly ruined it for everyone else in the pub. I feel sorry for the two bar staff having to keep up with one of the busiest nights of the year. They did the best they could given the situation, but there definitely should have been at least some attempt to handle the rowdy bunch. They felt very intimidating to be around, aggressive and getting in peoples faces. It was so obvious to everyone else in the pub. A lot of us left because of it.

   Booked dinner last minute at The White Hart, was very pleasantly surprised with the amazing food, lovely service and good valve for money. Willow served us throughout the evening and was chatty and very personable; food and drinks were prompt and we will definitely be returning in the future!

   The roast was incredible! My first pub Sunday roast in a long time and it didn’t disappoint. We went for the roast chicken and it was amazing! Everything tasted excellent and the portion size was great. The staff are a tribute to the business, they made us feel so welcome and the service was great. Thank you so much.

   Have eaten here several times and been in for drinks a lot when camping at the local campsite. Friendly and efficient staff, always ready to help and very pleasant to deal with. Allergies are taken seriously and atmosphere is always lovely. Thank you for always providing us with somewhere to come and enjoy a lovely meal away from the campsite!

   Only had lunch there. Food very good & varied menu which was interesting & everything the three of us ordered was good. The kerb appeal of the place could be improved I think. Faded plastic flowers don't attract passing folk & some small repairs to the grand entrance could really help to lift the look of the place. Once inside things were much better & well worth the visit.

   Had a lovely Christmas meal here. I had prawn cocktail to start and then a turkey dinner. I had a creme brulee for dessert. It was very well executed and reasonably priced. Friendly service and good ambience. Recommended.

   Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Not given 5 stars as everything felt a little unorganised. We gave our orders for food and thought everything was okay until the waitress came back a while later to say she had forgotten one of our mains, but she was going to take it from another table so there shouldn't be too much of a wait. The food wasn't hot and the beef brisket was a bit dry. I'm also not too sure why they bothered to advertise the honey glazed carrots on the menu, as there were only three on the plate! When we asked for condiments, there was then a fair wait before we got them which isn't ideal when you just want to be eating. We ordered coffee at the end of the meal and they didn't supply us with any sugar, which is fairly standard when you have any hot drink. It's just little things really but these minor details are what make the difference between an efficient service and one that's only mediocre.

   Old Inn and boutique hotel, centre of this historic village. Only visited for brunch after a 2.5 hr stroll around the network of footpaths in the area. Service was excellent foot satisfactory. Real ales available, muddy boots and dogs welcome.

   Been here a number of times to eat and have a drink. Always friendly but I feel that the menu has taken a turn for the worse. I had the beef stew with a great lump of gristle and my wife’s meal was less than ideal. The standard of food and prices don’t seem to match.
