   Booked these guys to help organise our work Christmas trip. We had a 2 night stay nearby, and they were sooo super helpful with the journeys for our large party (about 50 of us!). Friendly drivers and booking team were really polite, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Kindly accommodated for last minute changes/plans (which happens when you've got a group of 50!)

   Called South Downs Taxis after a bike crash. I was stuck some distance from anywhere with a broken collar bone (with a likely wait of 3+ hours for an ambulance). Sharon was able to identify my location from my description and had a taxi to me in 15 minutes. Chelsea the driver was very friendly and considerate, and kept me cheerful despite being in pain. I am very grateful to South Downs Taxis for helping me out of a difficult situation and therefore can't recommend them enough.

   Super good service and helpful staff! Short note: From the Netherlands, I organised a multi-day hike for my family. For the luggage transfer, I first contacted another company, they were not so accessible. On the contrary, with South Down Taxis the communication went very smoothly and we made good arrangements with them. During the walk in England itself, things did not always go smoothly, partly due to my fault and partly due to mistakes made by the hotel where the luggage went. At pick-up, they were even at a closed door. There were some contact moments with South Down Taxis and they always remained correct, friendly and helped to solve the problem. Thanks to them, we had a super holiday.

   I’ve just moved to Billingshurst near Storrington and occasionally need a reliable cab company as I don’t drive. I was searching for local cab companies and came across this one, including their Instagram page where they proudly state they’re easily contactable on WhatsApp & that you can even book a cab this way, which I thought was brilliant news. So I thought I’d send an initial enquiry via WhatsApp, which I did on 3 August. Today is 10 August and I haven’t even had the courtesy of a response, even though, the message is double blue ticked as being ‘read’. There seems to be a theme these days with a lot of these companies who advertise you can contact them via various methods - Facebook messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp but when you try it out, they don’t even respond. If they don’t want communication via a certain method, it’s very easy to just switch that particular method off. I obviously won’t be using this taxi company and suggest other potential customers are also cautious.

   I would like to say a massive thank you to South Downs Taxis/ Nova Private Car Hire - more specifically Sharon. I was attending a wedding on Saturday and forgot to pre-book my taxi from Pulborough station to the venue. Upon arrival I realized my mistake and got South Downs Taxi number/ business card from a driver awaiting pick up for another customer. Sharon directed me to the notice board in the station as I've never been to Pulborough before to get alternative cab services numbers as they has no immediate availability. After calling several numbers with no luck, I also called Nova private car hire and was put back through to Sharon. Sharon went above and beyond to ensure I was able to get to the wedding venue on time. They had no availability straight away and the next driver was not due to start for a while which would have meant I would have missed the ceremony. Sharon took it upon herself to come and pick me up and take me to the wedding to ensure I would get there on time. I have not experienced a service like this in a very long time and would highly recommend South Downs Taxi's/ Nova Private Car Hire. Thank you Sharon, some of the best customer service I have ever experienced.

   Had a wedding to go to at the beginning of the weekend to be told by various taxi companies no with no real reason, however you guys didn't hesitate sent two cars over to which we were super grateful and the drivers were super friendly and polite. Hence the second phone call at the end of our evening where Sharon (MVP) made to trips between the venue and where we were staying and is probably one of the nicest human beings I have ever met and annoyingly finding out she's older than me but looks half my age...…. Even still I will defiantly be using you guys and requesting Sharon again.
