Rudest staff I have ever encountered and been in the trade for years. There was no price on an item and they asked me to go find the price and come back! This isn't the first encounter like this. Shame as some of the staff can be great but others really let the store down

Very poor service guess b and q only had interest in money. Sales point was very good but customer service past the sales point very bad with very poor and selective communication. I do not think they were about customer or quality of work. Kitchen installation was delayed by one week, when the kitchen finally kicked off,was again slowed down by workers not turning up and not informing me,after I took time from work to get the installation sorted. Finally kitchen fitted, only to come to a curved panel end on the oven which had dug in to the wooden panels and defaced it,whoever installed this had seen it but then took me to point it out, which took another week to get sorted. Was told my American fridge freezer was leaking, a fridge freezer that never leaked until b and q arrived at my place, this made me purchase a new American fridge freezer only to realise later it was the plumbing work b and q had done that was leaking. Imagine a new kitchen leaking in to the new walls, flooring and also damaging the skirtings, paints and walls. Still waiting on this to be sorted by b and q. I had to call an emergency plumber to sort the leak out as was told there is no engineer to come out ,so I would still be waiting probably my house would have been flooded by now. Also had to get a decorator to repaint ,additional cost trouble gifted me again by b and q,I have also had an increased water usage during the water of the leak. B and q have caused me more expenses which is really very sad. Was told by the workers I had a cabinet left only to be told later when I asked as could not find it that it was incorrect information when there was a spare door left. B and q unable to say how I got a spare door but no cabinet. Workers took off my radiator, broke the valve and told me it was propped on. If you found it propped on,why was I not told? My bins are right there and going there so many times a day to use the bin plus my car charger switch is just behind the door close to this radiator and I have to open this door to turn the charger on,surely the propped valve would have fallen off. Took the waste collectors a few trips to sort the waste but still got some waste left and when spoke to b and q was told it isn't general waste. Picture sent clearly showed the slab and doors from the pantry and utility door including the ceiling waste from the old kitchen ceiling which was taken down by the workers with 2 buckets having the ceiling waste and the pipes used to drain the kitchen radiators but b and q being b and q. Was lied to at the start of the kitchen project which is really disheartening. I did say to the sales ladies I do have some waste,if this could be added to the collection and I was told yes, only for this time to come I was told it is not in the terms and conditions to remove any other waste. Why then agree initially and the waste collectors also confirmed it happens where b and q will say to customers ,yes but they have not passed this information to the customer not passed to the waste collectors Very disappointed at the very poor and suboptimal service received from b and q.

Massive place, so a good chance you'll find what you're after here. Not being used to the place I had to ask for help from an employee to point me in the right direction. Ended up asking the same guy twice, who was very helpful indeed. Will be visiting more often now ive seen the vast array of materials they have under one roof. As a maintenance manager for a property portfolio it should cut down on the number of places I currently use.

I like the huge array of stock B&Q have, and the level of choice is really good. I would've given more stars if it weren't for the fact that I hate their policy of having an enormous amount of living plants on the basis that half of them die (from simply never getting watered!). For many years I have complained and their stock excuse is that no staff are available to water them (how hard can it be??) it's heartbreaking to see so many beautiful plants so parched they weigh nothing, and the staff just walk on by in a leisurely fashion. Buck up B&Q, it's criminal to carry on this way, and extremely upsetting to many of your customers.

All you would want and expect of a large DIY warehouse. Very good range of items in all categories. The on-line website is very helpful telling you not only how many of an item are in stock but also which aisle within the store it can be found in. If you're in a hurry that can save time. Manned and self service check outs available. Adequate parking.

Massive store with loads to choose from. Staff are very helpful. Have to watch prices on certain items. Great for picking up a bargain in the clearance section. Huge carpark, so always able to park and convenient location (opposite station).

The staff here are very friendly, and the manager Paul is extremely helpful. They really helped me decipher what I needed to get a small plumbing job done, and I couldn't be more grateful. Thanks!
