Very good service. No complaints. I've just been in for tyre change and alignment. They were able to fit me in on the day which was very helpful, especially around Christmas time. Very reasonably priced services and they're all a great bunch of people. Special shout out to Malcolm, who’s incredible customer service really made it an outstanding experience.
Fitted me in although they were busy - and did an excellent job. Really good value as quoted much higher by another garage for same thing. Malcolm offers great customer service! First time at Formula One but I will definitely use again and would recommend.
First went to Formula 1 for a new tire a few weeks back and their service was great. Have since been having a myriad of issues with my others tires, all of which they’ve been more than understanding of and happy to help with. I originally booked an appointment but they have also been very amicable in helping me out when needing work done more imminently - often on the same day, if not the day after. To add, I have a classic car that’s tires are rather unique and difficult to work on but they have been willing and happy to give them a go and have worked on them with clear competence, going as far as to help identify the causes for the issues I’d been having that I hadn’t realised. Staff are friendly and welcoming and I’ve found quite a few are happy to chat about their own cars/interest in classics. Makes for a comfortable and assuring environment. Definitely recommend.
As usual excellent service and very professional and respectful staff. I had my brakes changed and Reece was excellent on the reception and kept me up to date with what was going on. I would highly recommend Shuttleworth road Formula 1 auto centre. I have been coming back here now for years and always get the honest, respectful and excellent service....this is what matters and that's why I keep going back. Thanks again Reece!
Reception stinks of cannabis, staff members drive your car round the carpark and into the garage like absolute idiots. Sat and watched them rag about 4 cars in and out of the garage for no reason. Definitely won’t be returning…
Slow, dismissive, uncommunicative. No customer service from any of the staff. Replaced two rear tires. On the way home the tire pressure warning light came on. Utterly useless and utterly untrustworthy (to the point of dangerous) people working at this garage. I will never go there again and will discourage everyone I know from going there!!!!
I took my car in on Saturday and explained that the tracking was out as someone had hit my wheel, and the car was now pulling to the left. I took it here rather than my usual garage near my work because 1. I was in town anyway 2. they were open on a Saturday 3. I wanted to get the tracking done ASAP to save tyre wear and they had availability same day. They put it up on a ramp for a few minutes then came through to tell me they were unable to do the tracking as the rod (wheel strut thing?) was bent meaning it was physically impossible to adjust and would need to be replaced. They very quickly gave me a quote of £240. I decided to leave it and take it to my usual garage to do the work as I know them and trust them to charge a fair price for a good job. Well, would you believe it (and if you've read some of the other reviews, you probably would) they did the tracking, checked it thoroughly for any bent or damaged parts and there was none. Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. Straightforward alignment at 30 quid instead of 240. From this experience I can conclude that Formula 1 Autocentre Bedford is either incompetent, deceitful, or both. Either way, I'll never use them again.
0 stars!!! 0 stars if I can!!!!!!!!!!!!!Worst ever experience at this Bedford branch! Unskilled staff! Rude staff! Basically Went to sort out tracking! After they adjusted said all been done but can’t print a proof because printer is down!paid in cash too(my biggest mistake) after getting on road realise my cars tracking done completely wrong as car was pulling to one side! Tried to rebook but they said they are fully booked. So I didn’t have a choice but go to different garage to get sorted as I hade few hundred mile journey ahead in weekend and don’t want to destroy my tyres! other garage sorted me out( including print out) went back to formula1 Bedford ask to compensate my bill and was sent to f…. Off as they could re do that for me! I did say you was fully booked and I had long journey ahead and don’t want to damage my tyres with their bad work.
