Initially had great service at Heathield but on arrival our sofa wasn't what we ordered. The delivery drivers also left mud all over our carpet as didn't stop to take shoes off. Now need to hire a rug doctor. We had been promised a call back from director to only recieve an email saying they won't do anything! This is apparently a stock item for them to. £3800 later it appears we are stuck with a sofa we hate.

We have used Davyd Salmon on three occasions and always found them friendly,efficient and very professional. On our last visit we were welcomed and had a good discussion about the type of furniture we wanted. We were shown across all three floors and left to decide our exact requirements. All the while being updated on the furniture, lumbar support, where products are now made. The buying decision was all ours and the payment/delivery details was quick and concise. Fast forward to this afternoon and the three man delivery team have been spot on. They took great care dismantling our old furniture and were equally careful delivering and installing our new furnishings. Highly recommended.

If you want real quality furniture at reasonable prices, this is the place to come to. Friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile. Much cheaper fee for taking old furniture away from your home than many others would charge. Wide variety of furniture from coffee tables to king sized beds, mattresses etc. Very efficient delivery service too.

I fell in love with a suite in David Salmon, Eastbourne and although it was so expensive, I decided to treat myself as I had just retired from the NHS. It was delivered in early September 2022. It is beautiful, a Tamarisk/Harris make, which has a very good name/repututation. However it has, what I now know, is 'Pilling' on just the sofa seats, the sofa has the most wear, I live alone and sit at either end of the sofa. I emailed DS to express my disappointment that I paid almost 3 grand and that in under one year there was noticeable wear. I was advised to buy a defuzzing proprietary product (websites for a selection were supplied) and/or go at the loose threads with a pair of 'Sharp Scissors'! Needless to say, I was very upset by this response. I have now taken my complaint direct to Tamarisk/Harris, the customer service representative (Hayley) is taking it seriously and is investigating how the company can help. I love the suite, I do not want a replacement, ideally I would like someone to visit my home, assess the sofa seats, then find me a remedy which is suitable. I have always rated David Salmon, feeling that you pay more for a quality product. I will not be purchasing furniture from them ever again and would recommend others think twice before doing so, judging by the Managers unhelpful response. The Customer Service is not up to standard, all who see my sofa seats agree. Tamarisk/Harris can not be faulted and are endeavouring to help me with a solution, which, after all, is what you would expect when you pay that much under the name of David Salmon.
