Some RUDE blonde woman who works there as a member of staff the Poundland power trip has got to her head after years of benefits she thinks she's manager I walked in with a bottle of pop and she has barked at me down an aisle telling me to pay for it. I explained I bought it elsewhere and she expected me to pull a receipt for a bottle of pop I bought from the corner shop. Spoke to the manager who couldn't run a bath let alone a shop The staff in this specific Poundland need to return to school and learn basic customer service skills

Today I visited poundland tunstall and as I'm an older gentleman I was struggling to find several items so I approached a member of staff and she couldn't of been more helpful. Every item I was looking for the store had and very reasonably priced even the shower curtain so I would like to thank Catlin for assisting me very professional in her role and very polite so once again thanks Catlin .

Unprofessional staff, staff (including manager) openly shouting and swearing on shop floor. Staff dressed in casual clothes and not wearing uniform. Manager or supervisor swearing taking personal calls on shop floor while stocking shelves. Poor customer service! Usually long queues at the checkout. Manager or till supervise stomp about moaning they have to do work instead of helping get customer served. Checkout (till) staff were pleasant but shop floor staff unapproachable and rude. (Sunday staff)

I love visiting Poundland, but it is always a bit of a gamble what you're going to find... This store is quite spacious, and i was thrilled to discover a lift to the first floor on this visit! I have not been able to take the stairs for a while, as I have injuries affecting my mobility at present. Upstairs, you'll find their Pep & Co range! I did struggle to find the correct price on a few things, either due to things being out of place or price points being poorly printed. There seemed to be very few members of staff on duty when I visited. However, the staff member who served me was excellent!

Small relatively range, although the shop is large. There was broken glass at the entrance. Very long queues and not enough staff.

If I could give it no stars I would!!! I rarely go this Poundland, but whenever I do, I always leave in a bad mood. I went with my son and the staff were standing there saying things about me and my son and another time they told my son off! Another time I had my son in the trolley and they told me off for having him in the trolley even though I have him like that in other poundlands. I don’t know if it’s a race thing or if the workers are under bad management but it seriously needs looking into! It is the worse Poundland I’ve been to considering the fact that there a few Poundland’s in stoke. I had to put this review out because I’ve always had bad service whenever I shop here and I’ve let it slide too many times now.

Like all Poundlands, generally good, some bargains, some 79p things you can get elsewhere are obviously a £1, but look carefully as more and more stuff becoming £1.25/£1.49 and above, sign of the times, just be price aware!

Some shelves were empty but the timing was pretty much change of season stock so still a good rating as other shelves were well stocked and easy to get to

A larger than normal Poundland with a large clothes selection upstairs bigger than most I've seen and also a larger than normal freewlzer section which often has good things and great prices compared to other places

We love poundland, the clothing range is affordable and they have some lovely Christmas jumpers in at the moment, their craft section is brilliant including yarn etc. We never have to wait that long to be served, even at the very busiest times. They are always stocked up and we have never seen this store shelves empty or bare. They have a freezer and fresh section also, it's a great little store we are happy to be included in Allexandra Park.
