   Very disappointed with this company and will not use again. I had excellent service a few months back for CV joints, although it took all day. The last 3 times I have tried to schedule an appointment it was either a no show (x2) or I had to cancel due to not being here during the specified times as I had to leave. First time: needed oil leak checked. Said he would come the Saturday and never showed up or replied to messages. Days later said he was sick. Second time: Last week he said he would be by for a diagnostics check between 11-12. I had to leave around:20 and still hadn’t heard but when I messaged said he was “just about to leave”. Rescheduled for Sunday. Third time: Said he would be by midday, and when I messaged him around 2PM asking for an ETA, he said within the hour. Never showed up and a waste of my time since I cleared my schedule to have this done. Never messaged me or texted me back after this. Don’t go here unless you want to try multiple times to get your car looked at, especially if you value your time! So disappointed in the service I’ve *not* received and the severe lack of communication and flakiness. I will never use this service again.

   Confirmed on Wednesday he could do an essential job on the following day, did not show up. Called about nine PM and promised he would do it the next day. Was very late, bit he messaged to say he would not be long at seven pm. He then didn't respond to any more messages or calls at all and has left me high and dry and unable to drive North tomorrow to see my family! I suspect positive reviews may be fake, he is cometely unprofessional. DO NOT USE

   Ash and his colleague were very friendly and helpful from the start.. I made an online query and had a response within 30 minutes, a quote within the hour which was very competitive compared to a lot of garages locally. We arranged a time and date and this was stuck to, very friendly service from Ash and his colleague who promptly carried out the work required in a professional manner on my driveway. I did not feel forced to purchase anything more than I needed and Ash clearly knew his stuff completing a very decent repair on my Astra. Will certainly be using ARV Mobile Mechanic again and will be recommending it to others.

   Waited a couple of days before i posted this as i was so angry. Had a suspension spring fail on my Mondeo and thought i would use a local mobile mechanic. Whilst changing the spring he pulled the drive shaft out and dropped the bearings, then charged £200 to replace it. Thought all was well, but lost all brakes whilst doing 70 on the M1. The AA Recovery Mechanic pointed out the brake hose had been hooked over a bracket and not clipped into the retaining clip. Supposed Mechanic denied this of course but the photo shows it was negligence. Just so lucky i didn't cause a mass pile up. Oh and thats cost me another £128 to put right. Please be aware when using ARV Mobile Mechanic.

   Ashley you are a lifesaver. Ashley came out to fix my sons car at short notice, working for hours in the pouring rain late at night. Would highly recommend this young man, nothing is too much trouble. Very reasonably priced too. Thank you Ashley

   Poor workmanship when i actually got him to change the suspension spring he pulled the drive shaft and dropped the bearings. Took him two weeks and a ton of excuses to put that right at an extra charge of £200 but then forgof to clip the brake hose in properly which caused the car to loose all brakes whilst donig 70 on the M1. Denied this even though the AA mechanic and photographs agree it was not possible for it to have come out accidently. An extra cost of £128 to put that right. It not about the money, it could have been my wife in the car or kids crossing the road ?
