   I can’t recommend MK Mechanics enough, Shawn is an absolutely fantastic mechanic, honest and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work, very good prices too. Great, fast and efficient service would definitely use again!

   I’m still awaiting a refund on my Qashqai 2 months on from the job. Ignoring every text message and call. I will be going to complain to the trading standards if it’s not paid back by the end of the week. This rude lack of communication is unnecessary. Every job he was several hours late, or evening moving it to the next day. I was understanding as he has 2 little ones, but does take on more work than is capable to complete. I did have more work for him but again just ignored messages.

   Excellent service! Called him over the weekend for a diagnostic, immediately spotted the issue, and came back promptly to replace the battery. The whole process was much easier and more affordable than booking an appointment, arranging towing, or paying the usual high garage prices. Anyone familiar with how car repairs work will understand that some delays always happen, and in this case, they were completely reasonable. I’ll definitely be calling him again. Highly recommended!

   Can’t thank this guy enough for all his help today. Having travelled for hours from Cornwall and left stranded in Northampton and needing to get home to Cheshire I called a few mobile mechanics in the area this guy being one of them who was happy to help me. Although I had to wait a few hours this was only because he had to get the parts he needed to complete the job. I was very nervous having read these awful reviews that he’s been left from one unhappy customer duplicating their complaint. (Can’t always please everyone). His communication with me was amazing and he turned up and did exactly what i needed him to do and as he promised he would do. Also to mention he was reasonably priced and very friendly. Thank you thank you thank you for giving me a great service allowing me to return home.

   Second time we have used shawn, first time was when my car was playing up, he came out and instantly new what the issue was, told me what it needed and did not charge me for a diagnostic. Second time was today as my car needed a service which was a good price. Very friendly and more then happy to go the extra mile for you. Will be my go to mechanic now :) Thanks alot

   It is not easy to find good honest people to do business with certainly that has been my experience with car repairs. But I was very impressed with Shaun. He is a very down to earth and honest guy, who clearly is very experienced with cars. he diagnosed my problem and fixed it very quickly and he also explained the problem was not what I had reported but something far less serious. the cost was so much cheaper than we had feared also, which is always a bonus. It is difficult to find good people to do business with but I really recommend this man.

   Booked this mechanic based on the good reviews, I must have been unlucky. Booked and confirmed over WhatsApp for the mechanic to come out at 11am today but he never turned up. I sent a chaser message at 11:30 with no response, tried to call him at 12:00 with no answer. Had to go out at lunchtime for 45 mins as he was aware of, looks like I missed a call at 12:25 but no message left. I tried to call again at 13:00, he didn't pick up, so left another message. It's now gone 4pm and not a single message or call (5 hours after the booked appointment time). Sorry he's had his chance and I will be going elsewhere. If you can't keep an appointment at least have the courtesy to message your customer, I know appointments can over run and that would have been acceptable, but this has been a complete waste of time.

   Diagnosed and fixed dodgy coolant system which went splat during the August heatwave. Initially looked like a big fix but turned out to be a broken flange and gasket which was quickly repaired! Shawn is down to Earth about price and timing. Recommended!
