    I recently had my Audi A5 repaired at Stoke Hammond Service Centre and I want to give a huge thank-you to Charlie and the team, who handled everything from start to finish with absolute professionalism. My car had a long-standing and complicated braking/pulling issue but Charlie took the time to listen carefully, kept me updated throughout the process, and treated the situation with genuine care. He was honest about what needed doing, transparent about costs, and even helped me keep the price reasonable. Charlie and the team took their time, did not rush anything, and made sure the car was properly diagnosed and repaired before handing it back.     I took my car (DA60YEY) to Stoke Hammond Service Centre in Milton Keynes for a full service and MOT about a month ago. They told me everything was fine and that the brakes would only need replacing next year. 4 weeks later, I heard grinding noises and went to Kwik Fit in Leighton Buzzard for a brake inspection. They found nine major faults — all brakes were excessively worn, one rear brake was metal-on-metal, and the car was declared not safe to drive. It is impossible for brakes to deteriorate that much in one month, which means Stoke Hammond either failed to inspect the brakes properly or ignored the condition entirely. This level of negligence is dangerous and unacceptable — it could easily have caused a crash or serious injury. I’ve raised this as a formal complaint and will be reporting it to the DVSA and Motor Ombudsman. I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting their car’s safety to this garage. UPDATE: I would strongly advise against using Stoke Hammond Service Centre. I paid £180 for a full service, but the work was not properly performed, and they have no evidence at all to show it was done correctly. The rear brakes, which are safety-critical, were missed entirely and were later found completely worn to metal by an independent garage—something that could have caused a serious accident. The service was unreasonably slow: I booked a morning slot at 8:00 AM, but my car wasn’t ready until around 5:00 PM, and I received no updates or estimated completion times throughout the day. Staff admitted the main mechanic was on holiday, they had too many bookings, and were clearly under pressure—likely causing them to cut corners and neglect proper checks. Customer service was inconsiderate and unprofessional, and the service is not worth the money. If you care about your car’s safety and don’t have time to chase them, avoid this garage.

    First garage i’ve been to in milton keynes after doing a bit of research thought these lads would be decent - Booked my car in for a repair and MOT i requested for the work to get done before the MOT i knew what needed to get fixed so that it’s a clean pass but they didt which caused it to fail - EVEN though they said they would have time to sort it out, car was at the garage for way longer than it should have and charged me a more than should have -Part showing £60 max - charged 110 (20% vat does not add £50) - Also unnecessarily changed parking lights even though was only a minor on MOT which caused them to quickly swap them out and take off labour when i arrived to pick up the car even the receptionist and one of the mechanics where confused why it’s on the ingivd . ( changed out my main bulbs last week and notice on one off the plastic bits holding the screw was cracked which i could be sure wasn’t there and scratches around the headlight on the paintwork) - On the phone also told i need 4 new tyres and told they wouldn’t pass due to “perishing “ ( MOT PASSES ALL 4 - 3 Advisory -1 newish tyre) - Every phone call i would ask how much it would cost ballpark and constantly given the same answer off “ we won’t know until we open the engine and see where the ”major oil leak” is coming from - turns out to be a small oil leak - god knows how much i saved . - also asked to fix the rear door handle that it dosent open from the inside - first phone call i said i have the part ready to fit but they said they don’t accept parts from customers ( maybe don’t that they add a few quid on labour) and the job was not completed upon arrival. AVOID AND GO TO THE COMPETITION NEXT DOOR ANE THEY WILL TREAT YOU MUCH BETTER

    I can’t speak highly enough of SH Service Centre. Their communication is always excellent — clear, friendly, and professional from start to finish. As a returning customer, I really appreciated how accommodating they were and how they kindly refined the quote with my daughter in mind, as she’s just passed her test and is paying for most (not quite all) the repair herself. The clutch repair was carried out to a superb standard, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. We’ve been using SCH for the past few years and their service has always been outstanding — honest, reliable, and genuinely caring. A first-class garage that goes above and beyond every time.     Took my vehicle here after having failed its MOT at another service centre. After having performed a second MOT they were quick to diagnose the issue (which had been incorrectly diagnosed elsewhere) saving me time and money. The repairs were done next day once parts were delivered and my car is now as good as new and passed its MOT. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this centre!

    My first time here and what an amazing service I received! I really don't know much about cars and tyres etc, and quite often I feel anxious about being taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge...which has happened a few times at various garages! So when called on a whim needing a new tyre for the next morning, Gary was super friendly and helpful which put me at ease. The next day, John and Gary were fab, John took the time to show me the pictures of my tyres and explained what to look out for next time the tread wears down. No dodgy business or gimmicks here, the guys are honest, friendly and we had some good banter too.... I highly recommend them and I'll certainly be back again! Thanks again guys!
