   Delicious lunch here today. Best menu choices we have seen for a long time. The steak and pork t bone were cooked to perfection as were all the accompaniments. The gravy was the best ever. Friendly and efficient service.

   We ordered baked camembert to share and rump steaks and a sticky sirloin noodle dish for main meals. All dishes were cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, had great flavour and the sirloin noodle dish sauce was adorned with ginger, soy, chilli and sesame seeds- it was incredible. We couldn’t finish our meals, so no problem with portion size. We received excellent service and felt that the prices were very reasonable compared to other establishments. We did note there was no chicken on the menu. We ordered a bottle of rose, 2 pints of cask ale and one soft drink. The bill was £100 for 3 people. Definitely worth a visit- you will not be disappointed. Booking recommended.

   Fantastic pub, stopped in today for Sunday roast while on a solo bike ride. There was a function taking place and busy in the garden outside, but didn’t wait for a table, and food arrived in good time. Was a delicious meal (I had the sirloin beef, which came with a selection of well prepared veg, and a giant Yorkshire) with a large Merlot, served by a lovely team. Would highly recommend, and hope to return soon. Food is fairly priced, and the quality is outstanding ✨

   We were given a warm welcome by the friendly bar staff and shown to the bar on the left with our dogs. After browsing the menu we decided to eat. We’re not huge pub food fans but wow! This isn’t just pub food, it’s restaurant quality food really well served in a pub. Quality locally sourced produce, which we like, cooked to perfection by the chef. Great flavours, perfect portion sizes and very good value. Thanks to you all we’ll definitely be back

   Walked through the fields from Welltrough Farm. Had a lovely pint of Robinsons ale. Ordered sandwiches and chips which we really enjoyed. Owner very friendly. Dog friendly too, even though we sat outside in the sunshine. Blankets and dog treats provided too

   Very nice pub. Plenty of outdoor seating, large car park and staff very friendly. I had a fish and chips and my partner had a cheese and onion pie. Both were excellent. Very good quality fish. Dog friendly. There’s also a field with horses next door which is nice

   We stopped off for a quick drink but we decided to get some food. We both had Southern fried chicken burgers and they were absolutely gorgeous, the chips are worthy of note too. Very good quick service too. This beer is fantastic too.
