   One sitting for Christmas lunch and we were booked for 12.00pm. We arrived at 11.55am and we were quickly seated, choiced for drinks. We opted for a bottle of wine for ease. 20 minutes later no wine. My Husband had to ask. Starter followed then by 2.10pm we still had no lunch. Meanwhile other tables had received 3 courses. Some had received none! Absolutely shocking organisation. The queue for the bar was out of the door. The manager took a member of staff off the restaurant and onto the bar! Myself my Husband and everyone else there had paid £95 pounds each. Only for the bar and walk ups to received preference over the diners. There was no cocktails being served. No flow to food. The service was just all over the show. We had to ask for lunch and dessert. Tables around us all experienced the same and were complaining. No green vegetables on Christmas lunch. No condiments offered. No butter for bread. Bare minimum. Refusing to let it overshadow our day we thankfully had amazing company and met some lovely people. Sorry Flowerpot but it was a 1st and last for us. We will not be returning. I did complain to the manager. I then apologised for complaining as its obviously a stressful day and he was trying his best! We were given a bottle of wine as a show of good will.

   Evening out Went in for a meal after work, party of 4. The place was lively with a good atmosphere. Took ages to get our drinks, however, we remained hopeful for a lovely meal. Waited even longer for our meal. Finally we get our food, "we" being the rest of my party. Wait about 10 minutes or so.. the waitress comes back to ask if I ordered beef or lamb. Everyone is stunned as they are all waiting for my plate to come out. She rushes off and comes back to check what size it was I had ordered... in that moment I knew we'd have an even longer wait. Another waitress comes out and offers to take the plates back to their warmer while we wait. No apologies, no explanation, nothing... Finally when we get sorted, I found the steak slightly overcooked. But I wasn't going to be asking about it as I didnt want to wait till 12am. The place is lovely but I found the waiting staff a bit inattentive. Very disappointed with the service...

   Came to the flowerpot a few weeks ago, great food, great vibes, lovely staff served by courtney, mya and manager holly. Will be back soon! Only note is that music could be a little better and updated.

   Quite a disappointing experience. Second time I've visited, first I had booked on for Sunday roast only to be told on arrival this was sold out despite making a reservation. Second visit we were sat in a really cramped corner and unfortunately found string in my roast. When telling the waitress she looked pretty horrified as it's not a pleasant sight. Nothing happened after that so mentioned it again at payment only to be told it's nothing to worry about. Bit of a choking hazard and obviously not something you'd expect to find in your food. Good atmosphere in there and clearly well liked just unfortunate we had such a poor experience.

   The streak and fried onion with fries were very decent. It is a really big portion. But the blue cheese sauce was too sour and smells. You either hate it or like it. If I can choose to have pepper corn sauce, then it may be better. The service are friendly and warm here. They do respond pretty quick. So it is above average

   The food was beautiful! Such a lovely place with a great atmosphere. Although they were really busy the staff couldn't do enough for us. Especially Jason of which nothing was too much trouble. Well done team, will definitely see you again soon.

   Lovely food at very reasonable prices. Good beer too and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There’s a great outdoor area for the warmer months, it is heated so can be enjoyed during the winter too if you want. The toilets are always very clean.
