   Been going to Forest Roe since we moved locally but after a not so good experience there the last time, decided to try Kam’s after driving past a few days earlier. So pleased to have found this takeaway, ordered online and collected on time, still hot when we got it home and the halloumi burger and veggie burgers were excellent with nice fresh salad, the chips were the best we’ve had in a long time. Will be back probably too often…..

   My second visit to this place with my son. Arrived just before closing and no problem staff happily did us some well cooked chips and a well sized piece of haddock that I stole some from my son to taste. It was well cooked with great batter that was light and not greasy. My pie was also well cooked and not some dried up offering. Also had a peanut butter milkshake that was on the money. Just as good as the first visit.

   Friendly staff, two visits so far and both times the food is perfectly cooked. Thin, crispy batter on large pieces of fish. The chips are uniformly crispy but soft and fluffy inside. No excessive greasiness or fat on the food, either. Really good place to get your evening takeaway, 5 stars.

   Fish and chips were fresh and cooked to order the batter was crispy and not oilily. The milkshakes are full of flavour and can highly recommend. The staff were friendly and have a good sense of humour and are willing to have a laugh with you whilst you wait for food.
