Humboldt Travel were very efficient and responsive. We had a couple of minor hiccups when travelling and Simon responded extremely promptly and quickly sorted the issues we had out despite being on the other side of the world. The guides were all exemplary and enthusiastic and we had a very enjoyable holiday with many unforgettable sights.
First class organisation from Humboldt for our 2 week stay touring Brazil - great mix of jungle, City, beach and waterfalls. Logistics worked smoothly and hospitality and hotels were wonderful.

In the past 18 months we have travelled twice with Humboldt to both Colombia and Jordan. The trips were excellent. Of course you can use Audley or similar, but why would you? With Humboldt you will get the personal service of the owners and their attention to detail. Simon has been to many of their locations and that knowledge is invaluable. I have had the pleasure of four amazing holidays with Humboldt Travel (and their previous brand, Bespoke Latin America). First time, I had a brilliant time in Argentina, with a two week holiday covering Buenos Aires, Salta and Iguazu Falls. The guides were very knowledgeable, especially Bubi in Salta, who made the spectacular scenery and driving tour extremely enjoyable. Salta is a less well known destination in Argentina, and I can highly recommend it! In particular, Humboldt Travel organised a visit to Bodega Colomé, the highest vineyard in the world. Then onto Iguazu Falls - anyone visiting South America must see this natural wonder! The hotel (an eco-lodge) and Brazilian guide were also very good. After this wonderful experience, I arranged trips to Antartica, the Falklands and South Georgia with Humboldt Travel, going via Argentina. They secured very good deals on the flights (I travelled business class, for no more cost than economy because they found great deals with BA). The expedition company they work with, Antarpply, are the best in the business, and this is why I have repeated bookings with Humboldt Travel. The experience before the cruise, in Argentina, was excellent again, and the hotels they work with are the best available. If you want the ultimate relaxation experience in Ushuaia, ask for Los Cauquenes, with a room facing the Beagle Channel. It's about the most perfect place on the planet. Once this Covid nonsense is over and done with, I will definitely be giving Humboldt Travel a call to get back there! Definitely to go to Argentina again, but also to see the Ecuador and the Galapagos in the future - I'm sure they will have excellent guides and cruise companies on their books!
