    Lovely food and coffee however the last 4 times we have been at various times in the day our first choice of food was out of stock and not available. Was going to give the benefit of the doubt but on the first weekend of the Christmas promo they were out of the Yorkshire pudding wrap at 12:00. If the stock issues were sorted which is extremely bad for a good company like m&s then it would be our first choice.

    This cafe is getting worse every time I come..Long queues at peak times due to only one station being open..never any clean tables!! The chairs look really dirty..the staff in general are utterly miserable. Today I had 'chicken ' soup and I queried why I only had half a bowl?? The young lad said it was a normal size portion! Really?? My cutlery was dirty so I asked for clean cutlery..what came back was just as bad with an attitude to match! No enthusiasm at all from the staff. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Does the store manager actually read these reviews because nearly all of them are very bad reviews! Abysmal!

    Bad experience at M and S cafe today - went for lunch but they were out of both sausages and eggs - only one overworked member of staff on the till, meaning long queues - Obviously not enough staff on at a busy lunchtime. To be fair the food I did have was good but the overall experience was rather poor for a store that I expect more from.

    Queued behind a couple being served to be told after they had had their drinks served that till wasn’t working and to join the queue at the other till. Should have been told this as soon as I stood at the till. Then to add insult to injury the Chicken Schnitzel that I wanted was not available due to supplier issues. This is the 2nd time in a row trying to order this with the same result. If M&S are really having issues with the supply of this then they should remove it from the menu, or at least when they don’t have any put a sign up so people don’t waste their time.

    Went for a bite to eat, food was really good and value for money was better than we expected. Ordered fish and chips, the grazing platter and a kids meal. Ruby and Sue were lovely and attentive throughout our experience and especially with a toddler they made sure we were relaxed and able to also enjoy our meals whilst little madam munched at hers and thoroughly enjoyed it, the finished plates said it all. Would 100% go back and appreciate the service and care from Ruby and Sue.

    Chris was superb when we experienced a very long wait for food, which clearly they had forgotten. I probably wouldn't have complained but serving front of house was Donna, who wasn't exactly friendly. Maybe she should be back of house while Chris is customer facing. Thank you Chris. Sunday 12th Feb 1.30pm.

    Very clean and tidy. Young lad who served us was very polite but judging by the speed he worked, he was probably under training. A queue built up behind us so he could have appreciated support.

    I’m not local and visited this coffee shop today. I can see it’s very popular, it was busy at 2pm on Saturday. I ordered cappuccino and carrot cake, both were delicious! Also, I loved design of plate and a mug, good idea :) I was served by George on the toil, very nice and fast working guy. Also, I want to mention a lady who was making coffees, I didn’t check her name but she was wearing a lanyard with sunflowers. She was fast and professional, she offered me some chocolate sprinkles for my coffee, it was very nice of her. There was another man who was cleaning the tables ( you can see him in the photo and asked the manager for his name - Chris). I can tell, he is very hardworking person and really cares of what he does. Overall I had very nice experience, everyone was so lovely and friendly. I definitely will visit again when around ♥️
