I'm an anxious patient with sensitive teeth, dreading my appointment with the hygienist, hadn't had my teeth cleaned for 12 years so they were badly stained. The hygienist was lovely, so kind and considerate. She made my teeth look amazing. I'm so pleasantly surprised I might actually start going every 6 months!
Dentist work: 5 stars Customer service: 3 stars I'm beyond pleased with the dental work I had done here. My dentist really listened to me, was gentle and professional and the dental assistants working with him were all very friendly, caring and helpful. It's a shame that the customer service experience wasn't as good. Hiccups with them telling me payments had been covered and then coming back to me months later to say they hadn't been and then being quite demanding that I pay immediately has left a bad taste unfortunately. I understand this was due to the way their accounting system works, but it wasn't a good customer experience. Could've been a lot smoother. That said, they are always professional and polite.
I made an appointment for an evaluation about a month ago. The staff were very friendly, and I paid for a cleaning that my dentist recommended. I was worried about a problem that, thankfully, is treatable and has a quick solution, but it was discovered by a periodontist at another dental clinic. The cleaning was quite poor; they barely touched my back molars. It was a shoddy job, and then they referred me to another periodontist and asked me to pay £340, while the other clinic charged me £180 pounds for the same thing. A terrible experience and money wasted, as I now have to get a new, properly done cleaning.
Excellent service. Had to have a extraction and a partial denture fitted. Everyone from the receptionists to the dentists were friendly and helpful, considering I was an emergency case at first Both my dentists were extremely calming as I had a bad experience with a dentist a long time ago, which left me with a fear of dentists. They explained everything that they were going to do and as they were doing it. I would definitely recommend them to others.
I came to Adelaide House after a really terrible experience at a previous Dental Practice. I was fully expecting for the experience to go just as badly as my previous provider, but I was gladly proved wrong. I'm a nervous patient, and I highly recommend Adelaide House to anyone else who is. Adelaide House reception staff were so kind. Sophie went the extra mile to explain everything I needed to expect, typed over an email which I really appreciated. She was also so patient with answering all my questions and concerns over the phone and didn't make me feel like I was asking too many - thank you Sophie! My dentist was Nikita Patel. As soon as you walk through the door she greets you with a big smile and welcomes you in straight away. I was immediately put at ease. She also took her time to explain what to expect in the appointment and explained all her observations in a really approachable and easy-to-understand way. Unlike the bad dentist I went to, she did not prescribe me 4 hygienist appointments, she only prescribed me one, and said we'll see if we need more. I am so releived and happy with my experience at Adelaide House and highly, highly recommend that you visit them if you also are a Nervous Patent. Very grateful for everyone there in making my visit as comfortable and easy as possible.
I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr Patel and the team at Adelaide and I am beyond happy with the results. Aside from the fantastic results I’m so pleased with my decision to choose Adelaide for my Invisalign journey - my experience has been great from start to finish. Dr Patel showed such diligence and passion for his work and put me at ease every single step of the way - no query was too small. The dental nurses were also excellent, Anna was great and it was comforting to see a friendly face! The reception team, Sonia and Lauren also added to the highly professional and superb experience! I look forward to being a patient of the clinic for many more years to come!
I became a patient of Adelaide House Dental Practice two years ago after my neighbour highly recommended the place. At that time I was deeply unhappy about my teeth and jaw which had a bad effect on my happiness in general. Dr Patel, a thoroughly delightful person, has rebuilt my dental confidence through his high quality work and I now feel very much happier all round. Recently had teeth whitening done at this practice and I am in LOVE with the results! The reception staff were able to get me an appointment really quickly and with no hassle. AJ was amazing and helped me work around my really sensitive teeth during the process and the nurse, Charley, was so friendly. Amazing practice!
Amar was exceptionally excellent. After having a fear of the dentist he was a calming, reassuring and knowledgeable about treatment I needed. He provided me with extra support and helped me understand why my teeth were so sensitive and how I can prevent this worsening. Would recommend for children also, there’s screens for them to look at, happy faces at reception and just ultra reassuring and friendly.
I am a very nervous patient and I have never had such a positive experience in a dentist chair. Dr Yassin was brilliant and so was his dental assistant. Really put me at ease and explained and photographed each step of the process. Definitely recommend signing up to their dental plan too as this gives options to have x amount of hygienist and check up appointments a year for a low monthly fee.
