As someone who has always been extremely anxious about visiting the dentist, I can't express enough how grateful I am to have found this practice. Dr. Alaasam was absolutely amazing. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly and patiently, and checked in with me regularly throughout the appointment.
So far so good. Treatment was done at short notice, with polite, professional reception staff, and friendly dentists that helped to reassure a nervous patient. Priced seemed in line with other dentists. ( paid treatment ) Diagnosis was quick and easy. Small but comfortable waiting room. toilet available There's a ramp up to the door for easy access for prams or wheelchairs. Parking is available at The Bridge Hotel, and is free for 3 hours for the dentist customers. Failing that there is also parking in town within a 5 minute walk. Recommended.
I have been going to this dentist for a number of years and find them exceptional from the dentists themselves to the receptionist. There’s always a friendly welcome and they do their very best to help. I have seen Dr Alaasam a couple of times. - previously it was Mr Hayward - and he is excellent. He shows so much care and makes you feel really relaxed and I’m a nervous patient! Highly recommended
Who likes going to the dentist? not many people, but these guys take the pain out of it... literally and metaphorically. A course of treatment with Dr Alaasam was effective and conducted in a highly professional and friendly manner. He knows his stuff and explains everything (including the costs) in a clear and transparent way. The dental technicians are a credit to the business and Kerry on reception is efficient and helpful. Never a joy to go to the dentist but not a chore either... thanks!
I am so pleased to have found this dentist. After years of bleeding and receding gums I finally succumbed and looked for a dentist. I recall my first visit where I just said take the teeth and give me implants. Dr Alaasam laughed and said let's see what we can do. So began a series of appointments where I was put at ease by Dr Alaasam and his lovely team. Everything was explained to me as well as how to prepare for the next appointment. After a series of visits I can now say that I have not had bleeding gums for over 9 months, the pain that I was periodically feeling has gone and I still have my original teeth and no implants. A great practice from top to bottom. A lovely team who are good at what they do and give you back the confidence you desire. I have now signed my daughter up on the plan and she is 6 - they gave her a great experience also. Thank you to all at Thrapston Dental Centre!
Unbeknown to me I was deregistered from my NHS dental clinic during Covid and had no option but to seek a private only dentist. No regrets and Thrapston Dental Centre with Dr Alaasam Haider and his team are excellent. They put you at ease, explain any treatment required and give you the cost. Great service and care given. My appointments have strangely become a pleasure!!! It's dentistry provided at another level and well worth the cost.
I rang around ~10 local dentists due to severe tooth pain and only Thrapston Dental Centre were able to fit me in the same day. Dr Alaasam took the time to explain everything about my tooth extraction before starting, I was nervous as I'd never had this procedure before. It was painless as he promised.
