The staff are not trustworthy, for 2 years they have told all of their patients they have been accepted for funding for NHS, then they are just waiting for the funding to come through and now, private only They are a joke. Stay well away if you know what's right for you
The best dental practice I've found in many years - all staff are friendly, helpful and honest. Hygienist clean was extremely thorough. Can't fault them at all!
Friendly, professional and responsibly priced., can recommend the hygienist clean, teeth feel like new. Also had a filling that was done well with minimal discomfort. I can recommend this dentist.
How anyone can give this practice a 1 star review is beyond me! I travel from South Staffordshire as a private patient to see Anand as he was previously at a practice in Birmingham because he is the most professional dentist I have ever had, considerate, Helpful and always puts his patients first. if there was an option for 10 stars this practice would get it. I booked a private appointment and waited 25 minutes due to a delay caused by an emergency. I was told it would be just a few more minutes, but the person for the emergency arrived 10 minutes after me. While I understand some appointments may run late, it felt unfair to prioritise an emergency when my slot was already booked. The only positive was receiving a refund as I couldn't wait any longer, but the whole experience was a waste of my time and petrol. I wasn’t notified in advance or offered to reschedule due to the emergency. I would have understood this with an NHS appointment, but when paying privately, I expect better communication. I would not recommend this dental practice.
Honestly shocked to hear the sad news of Maguires passing. Had no problems with their services at all and all round friendly and welcoming place! Just shame it will no longer be accepting anymore patients. Really sad!
Mr Maguire was an amazing Dentist, lovely, kind and gentle man and we are in total shock at his death, my thoughts and prayers are with his wife, daughters all friends and family and his wonderful team at the surgery.
I loved this place. I had been here my whole life (my family themselves had been going to Mr Maguire since the 1990s) and I couldn't complain about anything! Mr Maguire himself was very nice and helpful and understanding in times where his dental surgeries wouldn't go quite to plan. Reception staff are amazing and very kind! I'm so sorry to hear that he died and so sorry to know that you're closing down. I loved this place and always will! Thanks for the amazing 14 years here
I was heavily pregnant, suffering from hyper remisus (chronic vomiting), and very nervous. Mr Maguire informed me I needed a mouth guard to stop me grinding my teeth in my sleep. I told him about my condition, but he still saw fit to fill my mouth with yellow putty. I was crying and white knuckled with the effort not to throw up, and when I did - in the spit bowl - I was yelled at, and then he proceeded to ignore me whilst he scrambled to clean his equipment. He didn't even ask if I was okay. Thank god for the nurse, she was the only saving grace in the ordeal.
Been going to Mr Maguire for 30 years. Never had any problems. Very caring and supportive during my pregnancy when I had gingivitis. All dental work he has done has lasted longer than expected (crowns etc) by a number of years.
