I visited Brighton today, and I came across this restaurant by the sea front. I really enjoyed it, the Lemon Chicken was great. The girl who served me was also really lovely.

We had dinner & cocktails for 14 in the sun lounge. They had set the room up beautifully just for us and the view over the sea is gorgeous! All the staff were lovely and super helpful. The food is not fancy, but itβs reasonably priced and tasty.

Booked for dinner here and unfortunately my choice of food was very overcooked. I mentioned this to the waiter and he said it was meant to be well cooked. It was a margarita pizza and I think I know how it should look. I ate a very small piece but it was too dry and tasteless for me. They did knock it off the bill and only asked then if I wanted something else. We were going out for the evening so I didn't have anything else. A real shame as good location and reasonably priced.

No. 1 Bar & Bistro review This restaurant is an addition to Queens Hotel and I didnβt think it would be fair to rate the hotel based on this restaurant regardless of it being a part of it. Entrance - Very easy to find, right in front of the coast. Very good location for tourists and an easy place to make a lot of money. Food - Very mediocre. We had breakfast there and it was not up to par. Cold. Basic. If youβre looking to book the breakfast in addition to staying at the hotel, I strongly recommend you go elsewhere if youβre looking to enjoy it. Drinks - Breakfast drinks were horrific. Way too sweet. I had to ask for a separate drink at the bar because of this and a small glass of coke with lemon cost me Β£3! Decor - It looked like a 1997 football club. Very outdated and not the most inviting. Cleanliness - Very clean and there was a waitress cleaning on the go which was good. Cost - For where itβs located, I get why the pricing would be fairly high but itβs defo overpriced for what it is. I guess the bills need to get paid somehow. Customer service - Great. All staff were nice and friendly! Overall - Mediocre to say the least. The restaurant was not busy at all and itβs clear as day as to why. Lower your prices, revamp the restaurant and play some music. Bring some life into the place itβs an absolute ghost town. The location is amazing, you could do so much more with it honestly. I would not return to this place, but I am rating it a 2* due to the staff being good! Thank you!

Weird experience! My daughter booked the venue for nine. When we arrived our booking appeared to come as a surprise! Service is a tad snail like My strongly requested very rare steak was medium sent back and replaced with one that was medium rare in places and medium in others absolutely NOT very rare. The bill caused staff incredible problems as they struggled with the concept that we might like to pay for each persons bill separately.

We were staying the Queens Hotel Apartments and breakfast was included as part of our stay in this place. Food was good (buffet style) the service was quick as well. We also stopped for a drink and that was all good as well.
