   Exceptional friendly service from the two young ladies at Costa, Sandbach North bound, around lunch time today. Sufficiently different to prompt me to write this review. A very refreshing change to encountering staff who give the impression if not wanting to be there.

   Great service from the 2 lovely young ladies working in the morning on the 16th October in the northbound branch inside the services. Both seemed to be really enjoying their job and made my day work a small drawing of a pumpkin and the message safe travels written on the lid. Nice to see young people that don't just do the minimum to get by.

   Shambolic non-existent service from the staff at Costa Coffee inside the southbound services on the M6 at Sandbach. I stood there at the checkout for 8 minutes without even being acknowledged before I eventually put back everything I'd picked up to pay for and walked out without a drink and without my lunch. The two members of staff plodded through the two orders they were working on without even bothering to say hello let alone serve me. Complete ignorance. Not a training issue either, just completely brainless people.

   Terrible Customer service, an older member of staff in particular was clueless, intimidating and not helpful at all. As people of colour we had a negative experience which we noticed was directed only to us as the white customer after us received a warm welcome. We were also talked down to as if we didn’t understand what was being said when in fact the staff didn’t know anything about their own rewards system.

   Terrible Costa - my reusable COSTA cup that I use everywhere was refused as they said they couldn’t label the cup as it was busy or it was soya so they weren’t allowed to accept ? I’ve been to costa 100s of times and uses reusable on multiple occasions. Disgusting - on top of that they didn’t even knock the reusable discount off and I was told I had to pay full price ? Horrible experience

   My husband and I called into Costa South bound at Sandbach Services. A young lady working her first shift was very polite and welcoming to us we not only had great coffee but an excellent cheerful welcome. We will definitely call again if we are passing that way.

   Arrived just after a coach party, meaning the queue was huge with only 2 staff serving, so took a long time to get served. They were friendly and polite but our lattes were essentially just regular coffee, nowhere near enough milk. Not the normal Costa standard.
