Would not recommend if purchasing a property. Made the process of buying a hope as a first time buy very stressful. Our case was passed from one member of staff to a other, sometimes to ones based in a different branch, emails not replied to for weeks on end at one point, poor contact with sellers solicitors, which delay our buying process by at least two weeks, forms not looked at even when we were told they were needed urgently. Spoke to Kathrine in order to try and speed the process up as one of the partners, and was incredibly rude on the phone when detailing the issues we'd had. Only helpful member of staff was Charlotte based in the Porthcawl office. Otherwise would not recommend.

I can not recommend David and Snape enough. I am a first time buyer and if I’m honest I knew nothing. My mortgage advisor recommended me these solicitors and I am so happy I went with his recommendation. At first I received a detailed pack lining out the steps of my first purchase which meant I could refer back to it at any stage to see where I was in the process. I mainly dealt with Samantha who has the patient of a saint as I was constantly asking questions. Samantha always responded to my emails if not the same day the day after I never waited long for a response and always answered all of my questions. Samantha kept me informed at every stage of the purchase and always explained things in a way that I understood. Whenever I sent documents I was informed instantly when they arrived and received paperwork back promptly. I was definitely clueless buying my first house but Samantha reassured me along the way and I felt so much at ease. Nearer the end of the purchase I dealt with Sharon who again replied to me instantly and my questions were never a bother. Again Sharon reassured me every step of the way up until receiving my keys. I only rang the office once and communicated only via email which worked so well for me working full time. I would highly recommend David and Snape to all my friends who are buying there first homes and would definitely use them again in the future if I was to move again. After speaking with friends & family, we didn't have any good recommendations for a solicitor as everybody had bad experiences, we were constantly being told that we were bound to have delays etc whoever we went with.
