   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Outstanding Service from Beverly at Thomas & Thomas. We recently purchased our first home, and Beverly acted as our solicitor throughout the entire process. From start to finish, she was everything you hope for in a solicitor: approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making the experience as smooth as possible. Every question we asked (and there were many!) was met with patience and enthusiasm. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. After hearing so many horror stories about conveyancing, we were honestly bracing ourselves, but Beverly was the complete opposite of what we feared. She was reassuring, accommodating, and consistently made us feel at ease. We were kept informed at every stage, with key updates delivered promptly and clearly. Beverly explained each part of the process in an easy-to-understand way, including the survey report, searches, land registry steps, source of funds checks, and everything in between. Her communication made us feel valued, appreciated, and confident that we were in safe hands. As completion approached, Beverly ensured everything was handled in a timely and organised manner. Her professionalism and clarity made what could have been a stressful period feel manageable and well-supported. In fact, we were so impressed that within two days of completing, we had already recommended Thomas & Thomas, especially Beverly to five different people. That might sound like an exaggeration, but when someone goes above and beyond, you want others to experience that same level of service. On top of that, Beverly managed to get us moved in before Christmas! There were moments in our purchase that were far from pleasant due to the behaviour of the estate agents, but Beverly was a real light during those tougher stages. Her empathy and understanding made a world of difference to us. Beverly, thank you for everything. You’ve been amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better solicitor. We would recommend you without hesitation. 10/10 – Highly recommended!

   Very slow to reply to any emails or calls. Our solicitors had to phone and email them several times to get any response, and sometimes they took over a week to reply to their emails. The lack of communication and the delays were very frustrating.

   Had my paperwork for 3 weeks, when I called for an update Laura had no idea who I was, refused to discuss anything with me until I provided lpoa which she already had, she was rude, condescending and unprofessional. It felt like she thought she was superior to us. She was rude to my sister when she visited the office, ignoring her when she pointed information out and talking over her. Very surprised at the positive reviews

   Buying and Selling a home during lockdown, social distancing and working from home…. Easy right? No Way At All. Emma and Casey sorted the legal side of my sale and purchase and I have to say they were just brilliant and I would highly recommend. Although the process took 4 months (which in today’s reality is above average) and with the sheer volume of house sales trying to beat the “Stamp Dufy” return. Team Emma, dealt with all issues, all problems and the sheer lack of response and communication from other solicitors in our chain professionally and efficiently and just got the job done.    We have used Laura Matthews and her team twice now to buy and sell property. Neither move was easy due to complications in the chain and titles, but at no point did I doubt the professionalism of the team and their attempts to resolve things as quickly as possible. In retrospect I also really valued their honesty and refusal to give me false hope (a previous solicitor always said “in a couple of weeks” over and over for months) about when we would complete, until they actually could guarantee it. It both reassured me and managed my expectations. It was all resolved and completed and I have no doubt the job was thoroughly and as quickly as possible! Add to all this the team were working from home throughout due to COVID adding extra complications, but their telephone system still gets you through to the right person! All lovely friendly people too!
