Spotted the sign that read ‘Spend a penny and park here for free’. Bought some drinks, walked to Thor’s Cave, had another drink on our return. They have a decent set up. Would definitely come again,

Such a lovely place to stop for a cuppa & cake or delicious ice cream. Super friendly, loads of parking if you’re in a car, and plenty outdoor seating in a lively atmosphere.

Lovely tea rooms in a very attractive location and building. They have their own car park which is free (be careful to use the right one as there's a chargeable car park next to it!). Really friendly welcome and helpful service. Food and drink was excellent and reasonably priced. One of the best and most generous sausage sandwiches I've ever had - delicious!!

It is what it is, basic building but sufficient. Friendly efficient staff, good food and drinks. Free parking, right at the end of the Manifold Way. Public Toilets outside. Dog friendly.

We got sausage and egg sandwiches and coffees. Not a great cup of coffee, not hideous. But I couldn't finish the sandwich. The sausage was that awful cheap sausage and it had been fried and tasted so greasy and kind of stale. There was no butter on the bread and we were not offered any sauce. The place was freezing cold because it is just a huge corrugated iron structure. It was like eating in a barn. We actually travelled to the hulme end of the manifold way specifically for this cafe and what a waste of time and petrol that was.

What an absolutely delightful tea rooms. We have been many times now but it never disappoints. Great selection of hot and cold good, both savoury and sweet and really really good coffee. Plus ice creams and ice lollies. Plenty of seating both inside and out or you can takeaway if you prefer. The staff couldn't be anymore friendly or helpful. The whole place is dog friendly too which is a huge bonus as we always have our 4 legged companion with us. There is a little museum to the former trainline on the same site which is interesting but not always open. If you are walking or cycling in the Manifold valley or staying at one of the nearby campsites then a visit to the Tea Junction is essential.

Hulme End Tea Junction lies at the North end of the Manifold Valley walking/cycling track. It is a good place to start the trip down to Wetton Mill or Waterhouses with ample parking (free), a cycle hire facility and cafe selling hot drinks and provisions.

Lovely little cafe, in a beautiful part of the manifold valley. Manifold trail is just spectacular. Short walk/ride to Thor's Cave.
