   I've visited here quite a few times over the years to see various gigs. The last time was to see the wonderful CMAT here on Friday the the 28th of November. Parking wasn't a problem in their main car park, but do arrive after six when it's cheaper. The whole evening cost me just a £1.00 in parking fees. The next issue is getting something to eat, but I found Bar SU did a great pizza (around £12..00) for a visitor, and of course you can get a drink there as well. Finally, I will say finding my way back from Bar SU to the actual music venue was a bit tricky, especially with the maze of concrete walkways and corridors there are. Signage, especially in the dark, is not great. Thankfully, a helpful student showed me where I'd taken a wrong turn and I got to the venue. The queue you join to get in is well organised and moves fast. I will say if you want the best view of the stage, get there early. The bars get pretty packed out three or four deep, and be prepared to stand for the whole night as there isn't anywhere to sit. Exiting the car park at the end was pretty easy, but don't expect to leave quickly as a number of cars are trying to do just that at the same time. Best to wait a good half hour, pay for your parking at the ticket machine, then leave without an issue.

   Second time at LCR, first time was many moons ago seeing the Kaiser Chiefs, most recently was Starsailor... Good facilities, decent bar, great view and good sound - great venue!

   Always good to see bands here and an an ex music photographer I have seen a lot. Note* they have now introduced car parking charges but if you want to avoid the inevitable long queues before a gig, there is the choice to pay afterwards or remotely via the RingGo app. And no need to queue in the cold, nip down to the LCR student bar for a drink while you wait for the doors to open.

   The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because of location. Thankfully, I found a hotel on campus but it filled quickly. The atmosphere was incredible though, one of my favorite gigs I’ve been to. Intimate, smaller, yet so intense (in the best way). And security and medical handled things wonderfully! I felt safe and had an INCREDIBLE time. (They also offer a disability area!)

   The best live venue in the East of England. Have seen numerous great bands here. This is Suede, who were incredible. If a band you love are playing here, don't hesitate!

   Nice rock orchestra concert. Security should not stand in front and block the view of the stage. Too worried about protecting the VIP entrance. Did ask him to move but he didn't. Get a chair next time.

   Probably one of my favourite gig venues to attend to. I'm actually a photographer part time and I have been a student and a photographer and a member of staff at this establishment. It's been a great number of years of capturing a wide of different events. Happy to have went to this University and its given me many fond memories. It has helped me grow and establish a good baseline for my photography and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Staff are good. Security do their job well. The chap in charge is quite knowledgeable and has done this job many moons now. Quite friendly too. I don't really have anything bad to really say. Just sticky floors. Wish it could be bigger as a venue and that's it really. They've refined it and upgraded it over the past few years and I'm glad to see it still running even in 2022.

   Saw the excellent Gary Numan here. Parking was easy and finding the LCR easy. Great medium sized venue for about 1500 people. However, the toilets are a bit grim ! Be nice to have a bit more seating (with a view) too - we can't all stand for 4 hours solid, and if you move, you don't get your place back! Gary was amazing BTW! Still got that unique voice and whilst he's older than me - I wish I could move like that!

   Great venue. The room has a capacity of 1550 people, with a lowered pit area in front of the stage surrounded by 3 or 4 steps on all other sides. If standing on or round the steps be careful, but it does help with a good view if you're shorter. The venue has a "no crowdsurfing" policy which is good, given the size. Absolutely booming sound: great acoustics which you can't fault. Great stage space, too. Easily fit the equipment for the main band and 2 support acts. There are also two bars, and a cordoned off area for accessible viewing. ⁣ Shout out to Holocene and Morganway who opened for Skunk Anansie. Very powerful voices and fantastic music.
