The only place open in the area for New Year’s Eve! Had a great dinner, delicious Camembert and steak; and the staff were brilliant and funny, really made the evening. Definitely will be back soon ❤️
Me and friends had a roast here, after a friend recommended it. We were not disappointed! Lovely warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Roast was top notch and just the right meal size. Also the sticky toffee pudding was great which is always a favourite of mine. Looking forward to being over that part of the city again so I can take the wife and kids.
We went for a family Sunday lunch at the belle vue. The service was excellent and there was something for everyone on the menu from granny to children. There were games to keep the children entertained and the staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful. The food was also delicious. Several.of our party had the beef and you can choose if you want it pink or more well done. One of our party had the vegetarian option which came with its own vegetarian gravy. The whole experience was relaxed and well run. Thank you.
The Belle Vue is back! Been waiting for the roasts to return! Not disappointed ! It was delicious . Proper crispy roast potatoes, quality gravy, vegetables. My lamb was so tasty, with homemade mint sauce and my son had Pork with extra crackling! We couldn’t fault a thing! Thoroughly recommend to anybody will definitely be going back!
A warm greeting was had at the Belle Vue and that was the start of a fabulous Sunday lunchtime. Good choice of beers and wines and lunch selection. A mirror of the other sister pubs we've visited, The Boars and The Cellar House. If you're worried about parking, dont be, most of the streets around that area you can park easily and not permit holders only. Nearly kept us away which would've been a sad thing The roast was absolutely delicious we went for beef and pork with sides of cauliflower cheese and their special stuffing with extra gravy. All cooked to such a high standard especially the roasties which were perfectly sublime. We didn't leave any room for a dessert but took a look at others around us and OMG they looked absolutely awesome and large portions too. Service from Molly and the Belle Vue team is brilliant, so friendly. We can't wait to return. If you're thinking about going, don't just think about it...Go!!
Had a great time here a few days ago - played some games of pool, beer was nice & cold and the beef lasagne.. absolutely superb. Compliments to the chef! Will definitely be back again
A decent pub that has had many changes of owner over the last few years. 4 well kept local ales on draft and a range of national beers are available too. Live sports, quiz nights, darts and pool are also available. I hope this turns into a real community pub, the landlord is certainly giving it a try
Had a meal here on 18th Feb 2023 we were a party of 5. The home made pies are amazing great portion sizes. Food was piping hot just how it should be. Sarah and John are very welcoming 10/10. Will be back.
