   Cracking pub. Smart and stylish inside. Great selection of drinks. Weekly Wednesday quiz. Excellent pool table area. Darts area. Friendly Staff. Go there for a pint you will not be disappointed.

   Walked in to the pub approx 1pm, (pub had about 4 customers)asked the lad behind the bar if they they was showing a football match he said it wouldn't be a problem and also said that they could put 2 different games at anyone time as the pub had a few tvs.. sat had a few pints,crisps ect.. 15 mins before kick off I asked what screen it would be on to be told by the woman running the pub that i couldn't watch it because others were watching another game.. I told the lady that the lad behind the bar said it was OK otherwise I'd of gone elsewhere to find somewhere to watch the game.. Definitely will NOT return

   Only been here twice since the refurbish and new owners a few months ago but the pints were good and friendly people, has pool table and darts board can’t complain.

   A fairly large pub. Beer whilst reasonably priced was so so. Pool table on site that requires immediate TLC, dart boards and sport shown so massive plus' there. staff were friendly.

   Well what can I say. I never in my life been so upset. Going into the lamplighter for the first time since I been back in my own town. I have been back in Cheadle for 2years. I'm a nurse and the landlord who owns the pub turned to me and my disable son. That we was not aloud to drink in the his pub. Because we were strangers and my partner. He was very rude towards us. We followed the rules signed their paper with are name and phone numbers. All we had was a coke. Never in this world would I ever go back to that pub again. I have never felt so unwelcome in my own town...
