Hidden Gem. Extremely delicious, well presented food, at a fair price. Compliments to the Chef. The two of us, had whiskey pork belly. Perfect. Service was attentive, yet unobtrusive. Staff are friendly and mindful. We ate outside, as was a lovely evening. Inside is contemporary and very clean. Didn't make a reservation, but have a feeling your safest doing so. Highly recommended, will be visiting in future.

Really enjoyed our meal at The Queens. There is a good selection of hearty food and deserts. Service was excellent. I loved the Beef and Merlot Pie and my wife really enjoyed the Chicken Leonardo Pasta. The portions are generous so bring an appetite. If we ever come back to the area this will be high on our list of places to revisit.

Loved the food!! I had Mediterranean soup to start. Then the belly pork. Very generous with a beautiful rich gravy sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed. All my pals enjoyed their meals too. The restaurant is small and noisy but the service was very good and friendly. Free parking. Lacks network service. Highly recommended. Definitely would come again.

Stumbled across this little pub whilst staying in Alton Towers only 15 minutes away from the theme park and it was a great experience, food exceeded expectations and service was excellent. We ordered the soup of the day, breaded Camembert and bao buns for the starter and for the mains we got the duck noodles, venison lasagne, chicken pasta and the belly pork with garlic mash. Food was superb and couldnβt fault the service, it is definitely worth the visit.

Family gathering of 8 adults plus a 2yr old. Very welcoming Staff, who promptly served us drinks and gave us Menus to study, plus several tempting 'specials' on the board. Orders taken and we were shown to our table. Food arrived soon afterwards, and it's fair to say that everyone, without exception, was very happy with the quality and quantity. We were all full, so skipped desserts, but they sounded very tempting (another time perhaps). To sum up, this was a very pleasant lunch experience. All members of Staff were very personable and we would all return if in the area again. (We were staying in a holiday cottage about 4 miles away).

We have visited here for lunch on a Saturday three times now. Great choices on the menu with a specials board available too. Each time the food has been, well cooked, beautifully presented and delicious. We shall definitely be visiting again in the future. The staff are lovely, polite helpful and professional. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. A rather unspoilt charming place.
