First time visit. Overall great with one caveat. Unfortunately the mash was very stoggy, it needed more butter/ milk before reheating and serving. We had two different pies both were excellent and the chips my wife had were the best we’ve had for years. Great service, nice vibe. Would definitely visit again just not order the mash.
Went for a quick pint or two Sunday evening. Large outdoor seating area, then moved inside once it got chilly. Lovely interior and dogs allowed. Expensive but not more so than any other pub nowadays. I gave 4 stars for the food as I didn't eat but menu looked appealing. Happy customer and would go again! Staff were friendly.

After a busy day ,we called for an early evening meal. The pub is Beautiful and very well run.The food was outstanding. We ordered the special Rib Eye steak, the portion size was extremely generous, and cooked perfectly. Delicious food and a lovely warm reception. Thank you. Would highly recommend.

Loved the new refurbished Church House. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Bonus that dogs are welcome. Lovely atmosphere, we will definitely be visiting again!
Our refurbished local pub is brilliant. We've been three times now geocentric for dinner and today for lunch. Great quality food, lovely garden and great service. The menu should appeal to everyone, the beef baget with coleslaw and proper chips for lunch was great.
After a lovely (yet misty) walk around Macclesfield Forest we went to Church House on the way home for some lunch. We were pleasantly surprised as the food was amazing!! The place itself is beautiful & clean. Definitely recommended....
