Great little Tudor style building and a quaint cozy pub.

Lovely friendly place to visit in Stafford, the new bar man with dark hair was excellent helping me choose a drink couldn’t have been more polite credit to the new landlords. Fast efficient and helpful

Had a lovely afternoon here on Saturday just a shame it was ruined when the rude and obnoxious bar man started work. Didn’t seem to care about serving anyone, was rude to most people and each seem to be more expensive when he serve me rather than the girls. Atmosphere was amazing tho and the other staff were amazing just a shame about him completely ruined it for us, ended up going somewhere else

This was a lovely pub for drinking, with a majestic design! This is contributed to from the architecture with its curves, pillars linking to the floor and the stylish counter. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed a refreshing Gin with Lemonade, sitting outside in the heat!

Very busy on a Saturday night, not really my thing, this place has changed a lot over the years and various owners. Not at its best.

Dark. Cold atmosphere. Asked for certain drink bar person came back after looking that's a no , asked for another that was also a no, not her fault obviously. Shame no food. Won't be going back

Ordered a double Tanquerray and Tonic. Fever tree which is always a plus. Served it in a long glass instead of a fish bowl which is another plus. Busy place, lots of friendly people. Enjoyed a quick drink, a chat with friends and then off to the next place. Reasonably priced too. All in all a good experience

Always a great meal and dessert here. Burgers are the best. Wait time for food is minimal. Staff are very friendly and helpful. May 2018. Just had our last meal there. It was as good as ever. Will miss this place. No more bear grill after the this Saturday. Thanks to all the staff.

Nice place with friendly staff. I had the Mexican chicken burger with sweet potato fries. The burger didn’t look like the most amazing thing ever, but it was pretty tasty and did a good job at filling me up. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy.
