   Used to be a such a lovely pub But since the new managers have recently taken over, things have changed a lot dramatically, nobody’s is welcomed anyone including myself doing nothing wrong, the beer is not the best and over priced, toilets are disgusting need a good deep clean. Not a warming welcome like other pubs around castle. If there was a 0 start option or a minus that would be my option.

   If i could give it a minus review i would. Not the pub but the managers simon and natalie. They have no people skills whatsoever and bar people like myself who has done nothing but help them during lockdown. I had done nothing wrong like everyone else they have barred around town. They are destroying 3 local pubs whilst running them. No wonder their pubs around newcastle are empty they wasnt before they took them over. Managers are meant to be welcoming and to make customers want to come back. They would benefit from learning people skills and to smile. Not good when nat saw my lives on fb and rang both pubs asking them to bar me i was on kareoke and not causing any trouble, yes my singing is bad but the pubs were already empty before i got up

   A nice little pub with very loud music. The beer is good and very competitively priced, they even offer CAMRA discount of 10% - the only pub in the area that I've found which does. They sometimes have food menus out, however I've never seen anybody eating.

   Great food and great atmosphere. Went midday and had the southern fried chicken burger with chips and other had the all day breakfast. Average prices and quality food. Whilst finishing our meal they held a bingo event, good add on. Great Meal.
