   Just had a great weekend in Newcastle with my golf society. The George was buzzing Saturday night, great atmosphere, great ales, great owners and very friendly local people. We have found a new great destination for our weekend golfing trips. We will be back.

   Great little pub and just like a pub should be, good atmosphere, friendly staff and you can have a quality pint and just relax. The added bonus of a pint of John Smiths Smooth for £1.85, makes the experience even better. Will certainly be frequenting this establishment again.
