Empty plates.. food was great and there was plenty of it. They coped really well with 7 of us. I didn't manage to get a picture of the meals.. we were hungry.. wish I had! Empty plates always a good sign.
Good. Very nice staff, pleasent surroundings But a little pricey
Our local pub for snack lunches. A little In need of some TLC but that’s more than compensated for by a welcoming atmosphere. Great value from the weekly specials menu Monday to Friday. Staff are all friendly, welcoming and very efficient. Meals are always well prepared, wholesome and good value. Never had a bad meal or anything to complain of. Expect plenty of silver haired regulars for company over lunch (including me). Give it a try!
Dining on Christmas Eve we had a lovely reception, crackers and hats included. Though having to wait to be seated, service was fantastic and food arrived promptly, the food was tasty and homely British and servings were satisfying. Decor is a regular pub feel. Overall, a filling tasty meal accompanied by great service.
