Reasonably priced drinks in a good atmosphere. Football shown when on. Good pub In the centre of Alsager.

Alright place, can get lively and only place open late in the village. Shame most people’s night is ruined by one particular bouncer who seems to try intimidate guys and says some kinda creepy stuff to girls.

Service staff go above and beyond, however management don't seem to have the customer service that is expected of this kind of establishment. Place was understaffed resulting in mangement being incompetent in handling the volume of customers in the establishment. This resulted in tables waiting for 45 minutes to an hour for a drinks order, which once arrived, was wrong. When I expressed my annoyance, I was man handled out off the premises and told not to return. Absolutely shocking. Wouldn't return even if i had the opportunity.

Food very nice. Staff friendly. Great place to go for a mid week lunch.

If I could give minus rating I would. Midday, Meals were tiny portions and expensive, turned up cold. Young lads swearing and loudly and rude. Not good when you are trying to have a meal in peace with a child. Not pleasant at all. More like wetherspoons I guess. It used to be nice, and the food was good, but not now. Maybe good for drinking, not for a nice pleasant meal out

Best breakfast and more so the Manager Cliff the big Irish guy made us feel welcome from the start. He was polite and made sure that we had everything from the start. He recommended the full for us and we took his recommendation and was not disappointed. Everything cooked fresh and plenty on the plate. Compliments to the young chef as we saw him when he came from the kitchen to speak with Cliff. Nothing was any problem for the staff. We decided to head out around Alsager and we decided to go back for Lunch. My wife had the New York chicken and I had the cottage pie due to the last review. I could not complain the food was piping hot and was delicious. I do agree with the last review we did have to wait about 30mins but was well worth it. The staff were really pleasant and it was a girl with glasses who was there when we returned and cliff had gone. Cant wait to go back xx
