It’s clean, well run, and usually a reliable spot. That said, it’s been without Stella on draught for three weeks, which is a big let-down for a pub like this. Other beers are available, but if you’re coming in expecting a Stella, you’re going to be disappointed. For a regular pub, that’s something that really should be sorted quicker. Overall, it’s a good pub and I’ll still come back, but losing a popular lager for that long knocks it down a peg. Once it’s back on, it’d easily be a better experience.

The pub clearly needs some money spent on it, that said the landlord has made it a lot more homely and customer friendly than it was. Pet friendly and family friendly makes this place a great local pub of choice. It's clean and well kept by the staff. Again though with some money spent on it, especially the back room that no-one really uses, it could be even better.
