Love it here and often go on Sundays for a sit in cooked dinner, bloody lovely never any issues. Ordered a takeaway dinner today, shocking!! £42 for peas, cabbage and carrots! We wanted 3 adult dinners and received 2 with the amount we had. with no Yorkshire puddings or roast potatoes. Absolutely gutted.
I can honestly say this is the best carvery I've ever had, loads of meat, everything homemade, thick gravy. What more can you ask for? Service was quick and friendly, and the guy who ran the pub came over and had a chat with us, which made us feel even more welcome.
Wednesday is carvery day and was beautiful a lot better than the margam deer in Port Talbot and the malteaser cheese cake with ice cream was lovely.
Love the Sunday carvery. Food is always of a high quality and standard. Great selection of meats and vegetables. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Good value for money.
What an amazing evening. The food was fantastic along with the presentation. The service was also really good. In fact we had an amazing Friday evening. Nothing too much trouble, the chef is very amenable to a slight change if needed. Where are you people, this should be packed to the rafters. Amazing value, excellent portions too. Will be back very shortly
