   I reached out to Votex to try and get my car fixed after a number of other garages tried and failed or just weren’t interested in doing the job as it was a fairly hefty/difficult job…. They not only completed it for me but the communication and service was probably the best i’ve had from any garage. They were completely transparent and honest from the start which goes a long way when you have no real what’s going on under the bonnet. I cannot thank them enough, you’ve definitely gained a customer for life (if you’ll have me back).

   Lack of accountability, these guys don’t know the term ‘the customers always right’ I've been a customer of this garage, having spent around 1k on various services. However, my recent experience has left me disappointed. After a full service, they broke the mass air flow connector and instead of admitting fault and replacing it, they simply cable-tied it. This led to the engine management light coming on and my car running less efficiently. (It was written in the invoice sheet but I wasn’t verbally informed until I queried it after) When I asked them to rectify the issue, they denied responsibility, claiming the connector "just fell off." As an Audi/VW specialist, I expected better standards, and repairing a part with a cable tie is far from what I'd expect. I had hoped for better customer service and goodwill given my history as a loyal customer. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. I've also added photos of the mass air flow sensor connector for reference. Votex’s management seems to be very defensive and rather then admitting fault and fixing issues.    I’m fairly new to the area and this is the second time I’ve used Votex. On both occasions they have been superb. First with my Audi A7 which had an EML on (transient NOx sensor fault, cleared and never came back) and just now with my VW T5 Camper with suspect binding brakes (hand brake cable slightly too tight). Can’t fault the service at all, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

   We have recently purchased a used Porsche Boxster S from this Votex Cars Congleton and the whole experience was excellent from start the finish. James was very polite, informative, he went above and beyond and his communication was spot on too. I would highly recommend them as they have been brilliant and we received a 5 star service it is no wonder they have been in business this long.    First things first, I've just seen a review here which suggests that staff at Votex weren't taking social distancing and sanitisation seriously... UTTER NONSENSE!! The parameters these guys have in place are second to none. The credit card machine was cleaned in front of me when I used it. Screens and barriers to protect the public and staff... who are still coming to work everyday in spite of a pandemic to maintain cars!! When I entered the reception without my mask I was promptly asked to put it on. OK, now to the review... I got in touch with Votex upon recommendation from Revo, a VW tuning specialist hardware manufacturer. There was a firm who could do the job much much closer to me, however Revo were quite particular about recommending Mike and I can completely understand why. Upon initial conversation Mike was keen to hear why I wanted to tune my vehicle and made several recommendations. He listened to what I wanted provided it and gave me confidence in doing so. There was quite a lead time ordering the parts I wanted and Mike and Karen kept me updated throughout the process, managing my expectations. Since having the tune 4 weeks ago, the car is a different machine, it's absolutely more than I expected. These guys have done an amazing job fitting a; > Stage 1 Remap > Full carbon induction kit > Full front set of sports brakes I'm overjoyed with the work done on my car and can't wait to visit again when it's time for a new one!!
