I can't praise National Tyre high enough for their service. I bought two tyres using Halford's Tyres On The Drive and took out their tyre warranty for £10.99 per tyre. 11 months prior. I had a temporary sidewall repair done by the RAC which got me to their garage. The tyre was written off by National Tyre quite rightly too and a new one was replaced under the tyre warranty with an 80% discount on the new tyre. This brought the cost down from £165 to £33 and I was also awarded three £5 vouchers to use at Halfords FOC. I used one of these five pound vouchers to bring the cost down even further. Naturally, I added a NEW tyre warranty for £10.99. My total bill was less than £40 AND I'M COVERED AGAIN. MY ONLY CRITICISM: NOT with National Tyre but the Halfords app which didn't work using my phone, tablet or laptop. The app kept defaulting to a previous car registration, NOT my daily driver. Sort it out please, Halfords! This was a minor bureaucratic error for National Tyre who completed the entire warranty claim quickly and stress-free. Thanks to the National tyre staff, and particularly Nathan for helping me overcome the problems caused by the complete lack of road maintenance and pothole damage AND the Halfords app. Buy the tyre warranty..!
Car repairs can really drain your time and energy — and MOT season is always stressful. Every year, we all go through it, and is always stressful, but this time was different thanks to Nathan! He went above and beyond, rearranging multiple time slots to accommodate my schedule and managing to fit in a ton of work on such short notice. The service was absolutely terrific. Cars will always cost money, but for once, the experience felt stress-free. Nathan’s knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. I couldn’t be more pleased with the top-notch service.
So impressed with the service here! I came in on a spare after getting a puncture, worried about my MOT the next day. The team were reassuring from the start, promising to do their best to repair it rather than push for a replacement. True to their word, they slotted me in and had the tyre repaired within a couple of hours. Friendly, honest and efficient, I’d recommend this place to anyone.
From my first telephone to Kyle on 27 August 2025, through to completion of the work, he provided a first class service. Kyle explained the work required very clearly and was able to book me in the following day to fit in with my time off work. He was professional, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The work was carried out promptly and efficiently, and to a high standard. Highly recommended.

Really poor service. Had my two front tyres changed on Friday and then didnt drive until tuesday , one side flat. Took my wheel off and returned to the garage. Apparently they don't check for leaks (can you believe this!!!) or the wheel for cracks or damage, not under any obligation to do this and they are supposed to be the experts before sticking a tyre on. Dreadful customer service from the centre, very unhelpful afterwards.

We had the mot done on our car. We left it with them, expecting it to take a whole as there was a few people already there. To our surprise, it was done and ready for collection in just under an hour. Great service.
Now Halfords have taken them over prices have gone up. Always had good service here previously. Guys really helpful but they can't help Halfords pricing policy. Sorry will get tyres elsewhere now.
