   Took my car with a Pacific issue for them to check the fuel module if it was faulty . As it all ready been to a garage, I said they need the fuel pump testing if it fauly and recommended this garage as they could do more intense investigation they said they didn't have time to look at the fuel module but still charged me for a diagnostic ??? They also told me it was going to be fuel mode . However, I took it second opinion somewhere else, and it turned out to be an airbag module, so a waste of money clearly didn't know what they were doing I am escalating the issue through The Motor Ombudsman .

   I have called to ask a rough price to replace a resistor to my car. It works only at full power (5) and not 1 to 4. So I checked on internet and it's very likely related to the resistor (90%), even though I'm not an expert. The resistor costs 15 quids so it's a reasonable attempt. I have been told that it takes 80 pound just to understand what the issue is (80 quid??), I suppose for a diagnostic, and then up to 4 hours job! I mean if a non expert like me can guess what the issue is after 5 minutes check on internet, can I believe that an expert doesn't know what it could reasonably be? Anyway I had checked on internet before just to have an idea and the video to replace a resistor for my car lasts 4:24 minutes, it's just below the steer. What is this? It's better to buy the diagnostic tool on internet, it costs 45 quids. I don't understand how they can charge so much. It's a very hard endeavour to find an electrician you can trust. With these prices they should at least allow us to be there and see one person working 4 hours on a resistor.
