   The team at Cherry Tree Kennels have looked after our Whippet (day crèche and occasional boarding) for a couple of years now. The staff are all very friendly and treat all dogs as their own. Our dog always comes out happy and sleeps very well after a fun time there

   We have been taking our dog to Cherry Tree for a few years now and we can’t be more satisfied. Whether it’s daycare, short stay or a 2-week stay, our dog is always happy to go and comfortable. During our last holiday the staff was so nice to send us some pictures of him when we asked. He gets all the walks, socialisation, treats and cuddles that he needs to have a happy stay. Everyone is great with dogs and they really care for them. For us it’s surely piece of mind while we’re away. Thank you!

   We went to view this kennels, whist the staff seemed lovely and friendly, the area looked lovely also, but I did feel very sorry for the dogs particularly the ones in what seemed like a shed, they were behind frosted doors and closed inside there, the sizes of the areas they were closed into looked far too small particularly for one big black dog in the corner with no access to an outside area for them to relieve themselves or any sight of the outside for who knows how long, we were told if it was hot they were not let out so I was very unsure where they were supposed to go. We were told staff left at 4 half 4 after they were fed and this concerned me as to how or where a dog was supposed to toilet from that time until the next morning. We cancelled our bookings and I don't think I will ever forget that shed and how it made me feel for those dogs in those small areas. Such a shame as the staff seemed hard working and lovely and assumed most kennels have an attached outside area onto the back of them which is closed off at night, just not right for our dogs particularly as my dog will not toilet where he sleeps and I can imagine would feel very stressed and bored.
