   Had a new flywheel and clutch fitted under warranty. Bought the car from another Evans Halshaw dealership, however the Shrewsbury service centre was closer for us. James in the Shrewsbury service centre was brilliant. Regularly phoned with updates throughout the whole process. Even got the car cleaned for us once the work was finished. Thanks James!

   I had my car in for an engine replacement under warranty after purchasing my car from another evans halshaw branch. It took a total of 8 weeks from when i called to book it in for me to get my car back; in fairness, Michael tried to arrange a courtesy car for me while my car was out of action but there were no vehicles available. Furthermore, the engineer who fixed my car used the coolant out of my boot which isn’t an issue; however, he failed to put the lid back on and my entire boot was covered in coolant which when it had about 4L in the carton, caused a big mess and my car now needs valetting due to the carcinogenic properties of coolant. The engine replacement was successful and i have not had any mechanical issues with the car since the repair.

   If I could put Zero I would. Bought a used car from BYD (400 mile round trip) a week ago and as part of the sale it was agreed the car would be valeted before collection. Drove 200 miles to collect, appointment at dealership at 3:30pm and the car isnt ready because is being cleaned. Car returns 4:15pm, its had a jet wash (at best) and the interior hasn’t been touched. Show to sales person and they try to contact service team but they’re all gone. Salesperson tries to hoover it and a bit of cockpit shine. Get it home (another 200 miles) find sticky mouldy crap under the passenger seat and stains everywhere. So 800 miles and having to pay for a professional clean locally. Neither the Service Centre (who failed to do the job or respond to a 1 star review) or the Sales Person (who only seems interested in their own stats rather than the end to end customer experience or aftercare based on the response I got) are even remotely bothered about it. Think carefully before using would be my advice

   My Experience was Very Good. Went in to get 2 pieces of Interior Trim Replaced on my Audi S8. The Audi Main Dealer Wanted their usual Mortgage + 1 of my Kidneys to replace them. Even though they sold the car with that damage to me Certified Pre-Owned. CarStore was able to complete the work in under 1 hour, the same work Audi quoted 5 hours to do. They did it at half the price/hour as well which is always a positive. I'm very impressed with the work and would recommend them as a great value alternative to main dealers for getting work completed on your vehicle to Main Dealer Standards. Ian kept me up to date with the progress of the work and even ensured my request to NOT have the car cleaned so as not to damage the ceramic coating was followed.
