From the moment we first visited College Farm we completely fell in love and our wedding day was truly magical. The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautifully kept gardens, flowers and the most charming animals. The alpacas, llamas, chickens and Linda the dog were a big hit with our guests. It’s a very peaceful, nature-filled haven that felt so special from start to finish.
Katharine and Richard went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were kind, supportive, and incredibly accommodating with all our requests. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their warmth and genuine care made us feel completely at ease.
Staying in the Goat Shed was such a joy. Relaxing in the roll-top bath while looking out over the fields and trees was pure bliss. Several of our guests stayed in the house and were so well looked after by Katharine. Her homemade breakfast, especially the fresh bread, was absolutely delicious and her friendly, welcoming nature made everyone feel at home.
One of the things that really set College Farm apart was the creative freedom it gave us. The DIY nature of the space meant we could create a day that reflected us. Unlike many other venues, we were able to begin setting up a couple of days before, which took so much stress away and allowed everything to come together. Katharine was incredibly flexible throughout, which made all the difference.
We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue or more wonderful hosts. College Farm is a truly special place and we’ll treasure our memories there forever.
