   Do not use gift cards at screwfx!! Used a gift card (not a physical card but one loaded on my phone from a discount app through my work) at this store to buy some screws, card had £250 on it, (cashier took down the card number to make the payment). Went back a week later to make another purchase on the card to be Rd the balance was £0. I emailed screwfix to see what had happened and they confirmed the card balance was checked 3 times on the first day I brought something from this store and the remaining balance used later that day (over £240 stolen). Spoke to customer resolutions who were completely uninterested in even investigating what had happened. Reported to police who are also uninterested. Use extreme caution when using gift cards especially at this store, all they need is the card number which you have to give to the cashier and they can take the whole balance off the card!

   Working in the area for a few weeks and I'm using this Screwfix branch it can be really busy sometimes parking it's not very generous. Customer service is spot on, those people know what they are doing. Recommend it.

   Properly helpful store. I needed a part urgently to fix a toilet and got there as they were closing but they opened for me and helped me find a compatible bit (a replacement of the faulty one was out of stock). Really nice people and really sympathetic. I was able to fix my toilet thanks to them.

   Amazing how patient the staff here are, I would have lost it. Some ridiculous woman and her irritating daughter spent what felt like an eternity holding up every other customer because they were buying screwfix gift cards and debating how much to put on them. Most likely for their poor other half's. What a miserable relationship - Happy birthday, now fix me a shelf!

   I had occasion to return a faulty thermostat to this branch as the Kempston branch did not have a replacement. How easy it was, a very polite lad looked after me ( I think Victor) changed it over and labelled up the faulty item. What a pleasure it is these days to be treated like a human with politeness and helpfulness. Well done Screwfix your staff are a credit to you

   Excellent service. Purchased an item using click and collect service. Item was ready for collection very quickly. Collection process was quick. This branch gets quite busy but it only has a very small car park approx 10 spaces. This is the main drawback as some drivers don't park properly or park on the main road outside affecting the flow of traffic. Staff in branch very Friendly and helpful
