    I went to SM motor services due to my car smoking out the exhaust, with to it being bank holiday weekend nowhere was open including SM motor services but I called the number anyway and spoke to Tom who was more than happy to come down to the garage and take a look at my car. Tom asked me what had been done previously he took a look and found out I'd practically been robbed for the pricing of the work and the work that hadn't been done at another garage essentially broke my car, tom was honest with me about the cost of fixing the car and the issues present while he could have pressured me to let him repair the vehicle he didn't want to see me spending money on a vehicle that wasn't worth spending the money on. Tom saw my distress and didn't charge me and even offered to give me a lift up to Liverpool where I live. Overall genuine bloke and a rare honest mechanic. Highly recommend to everyone in stoke, if I ever here anyone mentioning a problem with their car I will tell them to get down to SM motor services!

    Absolutely brilliant and helpful fellas. Tommy was so reassuring when we broke down on the motorway and he kept in constant contact with me, especially when he found out that we had a baby and children on board. When the car was bought to his garage, his worker went above and beyond trying to find the fault, which took nearly an hour of his time. These guys are fantastic human beings with lovely caring hearts..... evidence that humanity still exists in people. Tommy offered to recover the car and take me home if it broke down on my way home and to top it all off he didn't charge me a penny. Thank you so much guys.

    Amazing service helped me with a very last minute repair for an mot when every other garage was giving me a 2 week wait . He not only got the part that day but had it fitted and ready to go by closing time. Honestly the owner will move mountains to help you out in a pinch.

    Cannot thank this business enough, they went way and beyond to get my car back on the road as the steering are broke. Mechanic Tommy, stopped and helped out (he didnt have to). I was with a group of kids at a school who needed safeguarding but he told me to sort them out and he went and got a part and fixed within the hour. The car was ready and I booked it in for more work. 100% customer service (and they collected me from Hanley Bus Station!) Phil C

    Came for a Free battery check as my car was struggling to start one cold morning w, turned out I needed a replacement battery with it being a stop start vehicle it needed a special type , this was supplied and fitted with in one hour and I was on my way :) highly recommended
