Ok so first disclaimer - i did not purchase the worktop But i moved into a house with an unknown worktop with cimstone stamped on the underside. I contacted cimstone and they quickly got back to me, providing me with information on the product type and cleaning that i wanted. Turns out the worktop is around 10 years old and it still looks good.
Our experience with Cimstone was awful and we were completely mis-sold. We had to deal with scratches, heat rings and staining to our black Quartz worktop. All of which was evident in the first few days of use, as rings would occur on the sides from both hot and cold drinks, which no standard or even commercial grade cleaning product could remove. We were also made to feel throughout the process that we were not at all of priority but rather an inconvenience. Overall the worktops were not as described, nor fit for purpose under S10 and S11 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, whereby goods supplied must match any description given or models/ samples shown at the time of purchase.
Simply great company and they supply great product.

Had a Cimstone marble vein effect worktop fitted recently (before lockdown) and I can't fault it, it looks absolutely gorgeous and is the centrepiece in our new kitchen. The worktop extends around two edges of the room and the splashback was book matched so the veins flow from top to wall perfectly (on one edge, on the other edge we have up stands where there is slight variance but we can live with that). I can't wait to (safely) show it off to friends and family when lockdown is lifted. Particularly impressed with how stain resistant it is (I thought it was marketing shpeel) but tea, coffee and red wine have bounced right off it so far (sometimes with a more vigorous scrub but it's still winning the battle). Special shout out to the fitters who from what I can tell were a nice bunch. But I didn't get to chat for long as they finished the job so quickly (no complaints there!).
